ORIGINAL: yournewprincess for every ten people i would go to meet about eight of them would never show up. nervous, fakes, or for whatever reason. there was no money involved at all. it was after that kept happening for a good amount of time that i started asking for a small tribute as a bit of insurance i guess you could say. What I find works well is meeting new people only at public events that I'd go to anyway, or at a nearby coffee shop that I hang out at anyway because the baristas there pull the best shots in town. If they don't show up, it's their problem, not mine. I'll still have a pleasant Munch event socializing with other people, or a nice double-shot Americano while I relax and surf the web. I basically won't go out of my way to meet new folks from online, but they're welcome to find me where I already plan to be, if they actually want to say hi. that works if its local but my problem is i have agreed after talking for a couple weeks to travel to meet someone. i have paid my own way and gone to other states to meet people and then they just dont show up. no call nothing, never hear from them again. if it was just a matter of ten bucks gas or something like that then i wouldnt really care. i know i am a good person and domme and its their problem for at least loosing me as a friend however when i travel a day or days then there comes a need for some sort of security.
