mistoferin -> What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 5:03:02 AM)

Ok, on another thread some things that were said got my mind turning and wondering if I am just really some weird freak of nature. So, what I'd like to know is, of all of the S/M-ey things that your dominant/Master does to you, what produces sensations that you process as painful?

abcbsex -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 5:37:40 AM)

spankings. rubber band snaps to the spine. holding positions. All of those can get me crying.

dirtyslagrosie -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 5:40:08 AM)

worst thing for me is bulldog clips on my nipples - oh boy makes me pass out.  Had my arse thrashed with a belt - buckle side - last night 24 thrashes that was also very painful and hard to sit down today but i enjoyed that

michelleryder -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 6:06:45 AM)

I'd agree with those yukky bulldog clips! I'm not so great with anything on my nips.

SubJordanTyler -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 6:35:38 AM)

I'd have to agree with the nipple clamps - not crazy about those.  I can take a lot of pain, but there is something about those that just hurts - in the bad way.  Don't like being whipped either - bad pain as well.  I just like it better when pain is caused in more creative ways, not just from someone whipping me.  But the worst pain I have ever experienced was the time when I was fucked hard and raw with a strap-on.......and then had a buttplug coated with IcyHot pushed into my raw rectum.  I can't even describe how much that hurt and burned.  It was a punishment - and believe me, it worked.  I just remember crying and screaming into the gag and fighting against the rope ties.........and wishing it would end.  It was brutal.  I love figging, so the idea doesn't bother me, but this was much much more painful.

Just had an ingrowing toenail removed, boy it smarted! Does that count? [:D]

Not a bottom nor am I a sub but I wanted to play anyway.

Yoko Ono. Her music is bad enough but there was an Episode of Mad About You that she was on and I never got to finish it because her voice is just harsh man. I often wonder what John saw in her, I can only assume it involved ping pong balls.

Nipple clamps are right up on top of the list.Clver clamps, aligateor clips. i can't put one of those on myself. it hurts too much when the tension is  just half released.  Oh, those aligator clips that are conected to a P.E.S. Man that will make you squirm.  My last caning (ten hard ones) that left marks on my ass  for a week. But it all feels so good when it stops hurting.

domahpet -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 6:58:41 AM)

ive never made it to my pain threshold yet, but god i hate the cane too.
the most painful stuff for me is emotional,
like feeling guilt or causing disappointment.

GreedyTop -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 7:27:06 AM)

clampy things ANYWHERE on my body. Paddles. I hate paddles. Like USING them.. cant stand them on me. kneeling. and like Domah said..

I'm probably just way over thinking this.....

The pain into pleasure thread got me wondering about something. I've always viewed myself as a masochist. Being able to convert pain into pleasure. But, the things that I am able to process best into pleasure are not things that I view as "pain" to begin with, although I see others who see them as painful. Sometimes it seems like exactly the things that I don't see as painful is what others do perceive as pain....and the things that "get them there" are exactly the things that don't do it for me. The things that really do it for me are extremely heavy flogging, punching, kicking, hot wax, spanking, paddles, needles...that sort of thing. To me, those kinds of things are intense sensations....but I don't really register them as pain.

The things that I do register as pain are more along the lines of the sharp or unexpected. A well placed smack that comes out of nowhere as you are going through the day, sometimes the feel of the cane or whip, abrasion, a misplaced clamp that grabs only a bit of skin....or a zipper being ripped off. That kind of thing. Also, the pain of holding a position too long or having my arthritic body contorted into shapes it doesn't want to go into. Those things I don't process into pleasure and they will pull me out of that good space.

So, I began to wonder, if you don't feel a sensation as painful in the first place...is it really pain that you are processing into pleasure? Does that make one NOT a masochist and just someone who has their wires all crossed?

As I said.....I'm probably just over thinking it....

BrigandDoom -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 7:30:25 AM)

Is that the rib pain from laughing, or the pained thoughts in sympathy with the mental state of the writer? lmao

GreedyTop -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 7:34:15 AM)

mist... yay for heavy flogging!  Using that as an example... to me the initial strokes hurt BUT the anticipation of the transition of the pain-to-pleasure makes it a NOT bad ouchie. I think it's the mindset, really. There have been times that, for whatever reason, I just haven't been INTO it..at those times, the transition never happens (despite my desire for it), and the initial ouchie degenerates from a pleasant anticipation to "FUCK!! ok STOP now!!"

Hope that made sense...?

akisha -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 7:45:43 AM)

Clover clamps.. Hate the dang things. lol

And a suprising one. We were building the new dresser and night stand for lilbits room and there was a couple peices of cardboard in there for packing. about 12" long 8 inches wide and about an inch thick. Really light, about an ounce maybe two. it was two peices of cardbaord with waffle like cardboard between. Well just screwing around i got wacked with a piece (lil peice of carboard is going to hurt ya right [8|]) Holy Mother of GOD!!!  I thought i was going to die. Damn stuff feels like being hit with Carbon Fiber but with out the weight behind it. No bruise either, but it brought tears to my eyes.

Sir thinks he should add a handle to it and keep it   [:o]

mistoferin -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 7:50:00 AM)

I do understand what it is you are saying, but for me, those first strokes seem annoying rather than painful....and when the transition doesn't take place the feeling just becomes more annoying. One of the most painful things that can possibly be done to me is tickling me. Now I will cry, beg, scream, plead and write bad checks to get that to stop. It's weird because it's a rare thing when I come across someone else who is similar to me in how we process these things. Sometimes I feel like I am all alone in a crowd, even though this crowd is the most likely group that would have such things in common.

GreedyTop -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 7:53:31 AM)

omg I HATE tickling!!!!!!!!!  I'll take a weighted paddle before tickling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    DEFINITE hard limit for me./....

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 7:59:54 AM)

~fast reply~

heels!  Daddy's birthday present, though lovely and pretty with locks and cuffs, are murder! i'm use to wearing 1 to 2 inches not 4 to 5 inches.

apiercedkitty -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 8:01:23 AM)

i find that different things are more/less painful for me depending on where i'm at at the moment... one day i can take a paddling, another i might break down in tears after 2 hits... now cloverclamps... love them... but please leave the cane at home.

Prinsexx -> RE: What is painful to you? (5/2/2008 8:07:13 AM)

Sadness is painful to me.
Pain is ok and different at different times
Finishing and walking away is far far worse
Those decisions I have had to take for my own safety have been harder than 'taking' any pain
