ORIGINAL: TJsCheekypet wow...can you imagine what her kids are going to be like? scary! edited to add a little more: i mean if she can be that angry towards a defenseless oap, imagine the mental structure of her home, it just made me wonder how she is towards her three children is all. Oh sure, just like the OP wants to give her a whipping and jail her for life. On the strength of a news report. What next? The ducking stool? Burning at the stake perhaps? The woman is 19 - NINETEEN - and she's got three kids. Unconnected charge of armed robbery at a pharmacy. Now a violent crime against a defenceless old woman. I wouldn't be surprised if drugs were involved. I mean you don't go and hold up a pharmacy for vitamin supplements do you? And you don't go robbing pharmacies if you enjoy the odd joint or even the odd rock. Three kids? Who is the father? Are there different fathers? How do we know she was doing this all of her own initative? I strongly suspect she wasn't. Was she heading for a pharmacy or had she just been to the pharmacy? Why did she need to rob a pharmacy? A debt? Fresh supplies of methadone? How do we know that this 19 year old woman herself wasn't in danger or at risk? Oh don't get me wrong, this is a heinous crime, a callous one. The woman is a danger to herself and other people and this alone puts her children especially at risk. She needs to be removed out of society and it would appear those kids may need to be placed elsewhere. Please forgive me if I'm not prepared to jump on the bandwagon with some of the others and condemn the woman for what she did and give into the mob mentality that wants to see her suffer. This is just my opinion, not my judgment. None of us knows all the facts, and I believe in justice, not retribution. Condemn the woman, I hope the OP feels a sense of satisfaction from the comfort of his sadistic fantasies - I just find it ironic that his answer to a woman who's beaten an elderly woman senseless is to violently flog her. But okay, make your judgments and move on. I see it differently, abdication of parental and social responsibility and a society which is only starting to become aware that's something wrong. I find no comfort in the fact that the elderly woman survived. She should never have been attacked in the first place. This was one attack too many. The only positive I can find are the people who helped get the young woman arrested. Notice that none of them kicked the shit out of her. There's hope. I'm hoping the second positive is that the victim can fully recover and live her life without fear of attack. I'm hoping that the third positive is that the young woman is duly punished fior what she is convicted for, and that she is removed from society and her children until she can prove to be a responsible mother and resolved her issues. I live in hope.
