Was a nudist most of my life when I lived in Maine but gave it up when I moved to California.

owwie. So.... How does one go about joining the nudist Clubs? Or finding out the locations of such clubs to consider joining them, lol. Seriously if there are some in the United States, this girl would like a list of locations... Her some-day future Dom may decide he wants to join such a one. Isn't sure about joining a nudist colony/club for the same reasons as the girls Phin perved... and I haven't perved them, but if they don't have nudies how can you be so sure there's nothing they should want to hide? (Just curious...) I'm too used to the high school insults I guess, I haven't gotten over my "fat" mentality, and I am not always comfortable in some of the shorter tighter fitting outfits I already own. . . so, would probably be that much less comfortable nude around other nude people. Does foresee the 50 and over age group as a slight problem too, seeing old men and women without clothes, who could be my grandparents, does not turn me on or fascinate me.

When I first moved to Ca I checked into it and it just seemed like the attitude was much different than in Maine. I didnt really care for it and really didnt feel it was a safe place for my girl and I. I never really thought about looking into it again which is something I should probably do. Its really weird that I got use to wearing cloths. For years you couldnt get me in my clothes unless I really had to....lol.

Nudists see average people all the time of all types... there not as critical about apearence. You can actually say hi to a naked person and that person can not want to do you...lol. Almost every state in the U.S. has some kind of group... just google your area.

Go to www.aanr.com and search for clubs near you. There are landed clubs and non landed clubs. You want a landed club. Meaning...it has land and is not in someones house. Nudists get together with other nudists even if there is no club around. Clubs are nice..many are almost like country club type atmospheres. Most clubs have open houses too. Specific weekends in the year you can get in as a non-nudist to look around..perv or whatever. About the only people who aren't considered for memberships in AANR are predators. If you have a record for a sexual offense against anyone you're going to fail the background check. Yes, they do background checks...I think specifically to keep the child predators out. Most nudists are just like all of us. Imperfections within ourselves. If you go to a gym..you hear people bitch and whine all the time about everyone being so skinny they can't go. When in reality maybe 5% of the entire gym going population is skinny. It's about the same with nudist clubs. They are filled with your neighbors and friends. Age, well I think that may depend on the day of the week you go. I've seen kids..to teenagers..to older folks. It always impressed me when I'd see an 18 year old join..with no family history of nudism. Yet, somehow they brought themselves out and joined all on their own. Realizing what life has to offer in so many ways. (nudism being on tiny facet but never the less) Sort of the same way when I see a young BDSM'er.

I don't think the point of a nudist colo..... club is to be turned on or fascinated by looking at other people's bodies. I believe it's more about being free of clothing, more natural, and so forth. Anyway if you've seen one you've seen them all. The only difference is some sag a little more than others. Some hide a bit better.
