It's not so much the 'shallow' physical requirements which I feel is the problem - we all have our preferences - but the stigma which is attached to various body shapes. This is common knowledge in theatre, film and television and how you look is very important when you are sent along to an audition, especially when it relates to television commercials. I use some of the same techniques in my theatrical productions, for example I will usually have at least one larger actress in a comedy with a larger cast and a very slim actress in drama productions. However when it comes down to personal relationships, as I form relationships with women, primarily Dommes, I have a slight preference for larger women but the number one criteria is emotional and mental connection. Everybody is attractive is some way, it may not suit your tastes but it's a case of looking that little bit harder. I see these profiles which state 'NO FATTIES' and I think 'aha, okay'. This is often borne out of a stereotype of unhealthiness, obesity, lack of fitness, visions of this roly poly lady drowning under a sea of pizza boxes and take away containers waving a remote control in the air. However body size is one thing, fitness is another and being able to carry a certain amount of weight is another. I've worked with actresses both large and small and the work rate and strength between them is often negligible and from what I've seen size isn't that much of an issue in the music industry. But what's wrong with having preferences when it comes to relationships? I mean you have preferences for everything else. But it's not good to put other people down for the way they look or who they are. But having preferences in relationships is healthy discrimination to me.

When I see the "no fatties" type comments I usually just think "phew! dodged an asshole bullet on that one!" ;)

Also what is the persons definition of a fattie?....... I have had some consider me overweight when I was 30 pounds less than I am now my current photos...when a person states no fatties ..I will avoid them as well like the plague even though I do not consider myself fat...as I am not going to risk putting myself out there to potentially be rejected as being too fat

I am finally is a pretty good place self esteem wise, and I'm not inclined to risk that my engaging with someone who may have a problem with my body. I'm 24 years old and consider myself reasonably attractive and I'm a good healthy weight, so I don't think it's too much to ask that I eventually find a young, attractive girl that isn't overweight. If that seems "shallow" to some, that's kind of tough. We're all individuals, and we all want different things.
