I've always preferred older men. There is a calmness to them I feel comfortable with.. also they are more patient. They know how to get what they want.. and are willing to wait for the right time. That being said, there is one negative. It's the darned prostate problems that manifest in the later years. When they loose the prostate, it's devastating for them. Even though there are surgeries and procedures that preserve the nerves (Da Vinci Method), the mental aspect is hard for them to overcome. Much like a female loosing her uterus. There is a great sense of loss that has to be overcome. Even if they are a wiz at oral.. the whole scenario looses it's allure (for them). So be sure you care about the person, not just their submission or domination. While it still can exist, it'll be "different". I'd welcome those gentlemen who still enjoy BDSM, to elaborate with their experiences after the deed was done and how their partner can help them through the grieving process of this life changing event. I hope this is not seen as a "hijack" as I think this ties in with the tenure of the OP. If not, I'd welcome a new thread addressing this. Just let me know and I'll open one.

I used to fit this catagory, always persuing older guys at least 5 years anywhere up to 15 to 20 years older. But then I met Sir who is 3 1/2 years younger and he has changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. I have never been happier than I am right now (he is 27, I am 30). I guess I learnt from this not to catagorise but to treat each person on thier own merits, if I had refused to look outside my "preffered comfort zone" I would never have met my soulmate

Never presume someone hasn't been "outside their comfort zone" :) It's how one FINDS their prefernece.

Oh i never presume about others I speak only for myself, and I know that there would be many guys Sirs age that would not even turn my head. We are going on a year together (which yes I know isnt that long) but I have had enough life experience to recognise this feeling is nothing like I have felt before. But neither am I dismissing older Doms, I know some wonderful older Doms and yes they do have a certain "something" that most others lack.

My marked preference is for older... I'm into women and I find quite a few women come into their prime in their 50's.. and this is a beauty .. matured beauty which shines.. Similar too with men who are over 50 and even older, they have grown a soul and even though I prefer women a few male Doms I've met in their 60's have made me question myself deeply. I'm not saying younger people are less attractive, they're not. Everybody is attractive in some way if you take the time and look hard enough. You might not be into them, but that doesn't make them unattractive. Some people just get better and better with age. Too bad that society isn't patient enough to include their potential.

things go up and things go down..At almost 51 now and I find if I take my time..like I have always done..things still work...sometimes I think its in the brain that that happens..what the hell get some pills and fuck is thats all you want..lol..personall, give me the crop, the paddles, and my floggers..and beleive you me I've not lost a thing..lol
