Ok while I do not smoke pot, (I am subject to random testing) I really dont give a damn if you do. HOWEVER, growing it IS a crime. Distributing it is a crime, and posession of it is a crime. If you choose to engage in the activity and get caught thats not a flaw in the criminal justice system thats a case of "you made a conscious choice to engage in a criminal activity and got caught".

If I choose to bust IFR minimums, say "I have the runway in sight" even though I dont and land anyway, because I have shot the approach 1000 times before and I know Im on the glideslope and I know that unless someone moved the runway its gonna be there when the wheels squeak then thats my choice.... If they then say "Come to the tower" well Im fucked because I knew the rules, I broke the rules, and the action they take against me is because I fucked up not because the FAA is evil and wrong and persecuting me.

Speaking of BDSM, did you know that in Texas there is a FIVE DILDO RULE. A person can only legally posess five sex toys. Do people have more? Sure, but the cops dont go door to door with warrants searching womens panty drawers and closets!

As for what gives me the right to limit your rights? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I have never been elected to any office nor do I intend to be. So I dont make laws, and other than the few times I have been called to jury duty I dont enforce them either. I smoke cigarettes... However, as much as I would like to light up in a restaurant in Houston I CANT BECAUSE ITS AGAINST THE LAW. I like guns and have a concealed carry permit - BUT I cannot carry in bars, schools, houses of worship, amusement parks, etc... My rights are limited too but the law is the law and by choosing to obey it I STAY THE FUCK OUT OF JAIL.

Hence, I have no reason to bitch about jail, the criminal justice system, etc because I DONT become a part of it. Drunk driving? Not an issue - I will get drunk at home! Or I will get drunk someplace where there are overnight accomadations - like vegas! Throw my ass on a baggage cart and push me back up to my suite and nobody gets hurt or killed. Or, I will run in packs and one member of the pack is a designated driver... Nobody gets a DUI, and I dont have to face criminal charges and explain to some mother why her kid is dead because I wanted to party. If I am behind the wheel smashed, I dont think the cops should mail me my keys if I didnt kill anyone yet - I expect to go to jail and I expect you to go to jail too and to stop whining about it like a little brat whose kindergarten teacher made him stand in the corner.

As for friends stabbing each other... I wont even get into that except to say that they are obviously shit. I have many friends, and have been to many parties, and we dont knife each other to settle disputes.

Legally speaking - you are wrong. Your rights end where the law says they do. Otherwise we have anarchy... I could care less about pot smoking, but if a grower gets sent to jail its not because the system is flawed or the cops are wrong or some poor baby is having his rights violated. HE BROKE THE LAW. Again, if you dont like the law change it, move someplace where it is more to your liking, or just ignore it and accept the consequences if you get caught. Im no angel, nor do I claim to be, but if I get speeding ticket - I earned it Im not being persecuted by society.

Well DA, not bad.

You and I seem to be on the opposite ends of the spectrum. As such this could be very interesting. And I am seeing something else, in the way of another issue I had not considered up to this point.

Your words indicate that you are willing to let the government define right from wrong. I do not. What instills that ? Some form of patriotism ? The government says pot is bad so it is ? And there is a contradiction here, it is OK to smoke pot but not to grow or sell it ? How the hell would anyone ever smoke it unless someone grew it ?

And who the hell are they to tell us we can have cigarettes but not joints ?

I have maintained that drugs should be legal, I mean where you can go to the drugstore and get heroin. If you choose to kill yourself with it, goodbye, it was nice knowing you. Period.

You have fallen into the mindset that you must conform, I have not. You respect authority, but what you see as authority really isn't, it is despotism. You simply decide to comply and cede your rights at any of their behests. I will never do that.

If they made pot illegal for our own good, why is all hemp growing illegal ? The medicines and other substances that can be derived from it could reduce our dependence on oil. Does that give anyone a hint ?

There was only one time in the history of this country when the Constitution gave the government the right to regulate what someone takes into their body, and that was during prohibition. Why did they need a Constitutional amendment to accomplish this ? Why didn't they just make a law, it would've been alot simpler. The answer is that they couldn't.

Way back then, even the Harrison act which made cocaine illegal was a tax and regulate measure, not an outright ban. However it did prompt the Coca Cola company to remove cocaine from it's best selling beverage since it was shipped across state lines.

Should this substance be removed from a popular beverage ? Of course, and that is the government's job. However if you want the substance it should not be denied based on someone else's morality. That is not what this country is supposed to be about and that is what I am talking about.

But crime is still crime. It's going to be difficult to stay within CM guidlines for this statement, but I will do my best. If someone raped a family member or one of my friends' olady or kids, I would seriously consider the following action.

Find the guy alone, take him to a real dungeon, not those fake ones we use. Fuck him up the ass with a baseball bat until it bleeds all over the place. Make him seeiously miserable for quite some time. I wanna hear the words "Please stop" through tears and of course not stop. After all that's what he did. He cared not for the peice of meat that he was sticking his piece of meat into. She was a tool for his own self gratification.

IMO people like that need to experience hurt real bad. Better than letting him be supported in prison to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars and having him start raping guys.

I am serious, I would not even call the police.

Years ago I dismissed the Code Of Hamurabi, but sometimes I think it might be worth another read. Incarceration does not work, we all know it. Any sane Man knows that if you keep doing what doesn't not work, the problem will not be solved. Watching events unfold over the years I have come to the conclusion that they do not want the problems solved.

They do not serve us as they were intended, they do not operate in our best interests and have not for quite some time. They have no qualification to arbitrate our moral issues because they themselves have no morals.

As such they can go fuck themselves.
