We have just finished a stirup set up for medical play and any thing else we think of at times its adjustable sideways as well as hight all with some tubeing and base from an old shade pergola that was mostly destroyed by a high wind before we could get it down.

It's been my experience that most dominants (males especially, I believe) eventually get into making their own toys....
I'm wondering what other types of toys people here have made, other than paddles. (Looking for inspiration for him...)
I appreciate any thoughts on this subject.
Thanks, Cin

fun things can be made of dowels of varying lengths with eyebolts screwed into either end. a plywood board with eyebolts on each side can also be tons of fun. these can all be made using some sandpaper and a drill, plus wood and the eyebolts and nuts. adding a wooden post makes the board even more fun. dremmel drills can make anything.

I love making toys. I do not walk thru any store without my "toy making"eyes focused. I made my cuffs out of leather and fake fur (going to change to mink as soon as I get around to it....but then again why hurry? I am not the one wearing them ~wink~). I made several gags from leather collars and a rubber ball, ring, rubber dog bone, and a few other things. I made a gag from a leather collar and ring that a dildo can fit in, as well. This one fits around my thigh and gives another side to giving horsey rides. The dildo can be placed facing in for a deep throat gag or facing out for my pleasure. I have made several floggers out of innertubing, bungy cords, beads of pearls, straw, sink, fur, ....,well all kinds of things. Paddles out of every thing and kinds of wood imaginable. I love my paddles the best and really put love into every one...LOL. I have a bondage table made from a buffet table. I have spreader bars made from dowels, and a set made from long screw looking things. I have a few other bondage benches that others have made for me...I wish I had the room to make these myself as I would like the challenge. I have made a stingy ...I dont really know what to call it...out of tubing with beads inside. I made a humbler out of two paint stirrers that has been a lot of fun.

I would REALLY LIKE a queening stool. I wonder if their is a way to make this that would not take a lot of room.

I think there was a thread like this one back last year sometime where we discussed toys.

I would love more information on this!! I adore medical play and would love some stirrups...Do you have a photo of the apparatus, or can you describe it in more detail?

I would really appreciate it...as would my dom. LOL

Hmmm...Could a Queening stool be made from a wooden (or other fancy desiger-type) toilet seat (from a home hardware store), and the the legs from an old stool? That would seem to me to be simple and small-ish. Mind you, I'm no handyperson so I could be way off with this.

Places like IKEA that sell furniture you put together yourself might be a good place to get the legs (even if you have to buy the whole stool and toss away the stool seat, it should still be cheap...)

Just a thought.

Great ideas. I have also thought of something.....I am a totally sick person now....I work in an Assisted Living Community and most of the residents need help in this area... so they have these raised toilet seat "things" with railings to hold for support. I am thinking that one of those with the legs shortened. I would like something prettier but this might work. I like your idea, as well.

Thanks

Yes, a lot of the queening stools I have seen online were simply devices designed for the purposes you describe. You must be able to find one cheap on E-Bay!

Heck, spray paint it or have someone upholster it in leather or something...

Home made toys can be made but some care must be taken. A bench can collapse and splinter. A whip can cause little pain but do great damage. And those home made fucking machines need to be sprung or hooked to a soft rubber dildo to provide some give if they go too deep.

Generally the closer you get to the genitals the more careful you have to take it. Did I mention home made chastity belts? I did now.

Have read with great interest this thread and find it interesting that it seems most of the toymakers mentioned have been Dom/e.

As a slave I do all the toymaking spending many hours researching and finding the things that Master would enjoy having. It has got to such a stage where I have many request to make and sell my creations. The reason I started making toys was that if Mater was usuing them on me , I wanted to be assured that the quality was of the best for both our enjoyment. Am currently in the process of making a water torture rack.

Am I in the minority here being a sub/slave making the toys? If you are interested and need some sites with designs let me know .

I don't tend to make toys but I often buy them. LOL

Links to some design sites would be great!! I'm sure my dom would love to look at them.

Home Depot is one of my favorite stores. It's amazing when you can do with the raw material you can find there.

Being a carpenter, I naturally gravitate toward wood structures. I've built a set of stocks and a pillory, and have drawn up plans for a nice strong cage but haven't gotten around to building it yet. I also want to build a new dining table with a hole in the middle where a poor subbie's neck would fit. :)
