Hi. I've been a member of collar.me for a year or two but not much of a poster - although I've read a good number of the posts here.
I am, among other things, a 40 year old male submissive. I am an internal communications manager for a company that deals with technology and information. (I write and mange content for the internal website. I also write speeches for the CEO and other executives at the company.) I am also a screenwriter who has placed in over five prestigious contests with five different scripts.
I’ve been RT on and off for about ten years. I have been in four d/s relationships with dominant women in my past - two of them as a slave.
For me D/S is love distilled - think only of me, desire only me, obey only me. Casual play for me is hard for me - not judging those who do so - actually sometimes I wish it were not. I am not offering not just my body but also my heart and soul. This deep intimacy, this emotional nakedness is a big part of the draw of this lifestyle for me. Most couples will never discover what their partner really wishes and desires. I don't expect to get everything I want - but I do want to be in (again) a relationship where I have to hold back nothing.
Some feel if a submissive has wants and desires that just makes them "just" a bedroom submissive. I think it is unrealistic to beleive that a submissive's desires and wants don't matter. Some level of reciprocity is critical to any lasting loving relationship.
I take this very seriously but humor is important too!
And that should be more than enough for an intro....
