well, ninjas are also really cool, but i'm not cut out for it. i'm loud, not especially stealty, and more of a confidence player... in my youth i used to smile sweetly and ask questions to shopkeepers about things and walk off with stuff i dopn't look particularly scary, but i have a tendency to yell strange things at people and i wear frilly dresses. i think a pirate girl could get away with wearing frilly dresses, and i like the fashion line "alice and the pirates."
so being a pirate suits me. i even have an ancestor who was one under jean lafitte.

but i think ninjas are pretty sexy, so i'm in the "ninjas and pirates should get along" camp.
