My Dom told me to apply to law school and I was admitted to a damn good one. And now I am confused about my life.

My Dom does not exactly make me happy. I love him. I want to marry him and give him children but I do not think he sees me this way and I am not altogether sure why this is the case.

Originally I was going to law school only for him. Now I seem to be attracted to several options the school offers which are not purely related to law such as the study abroad and dual degree options. I still have no conscious desire to be an attorney.

I do not know what to do. I also do not know how to leave my Dom and I seek to leave him more and more each day.

Why would you apply for a school for a job you had no interest in pursuing?

I should elaborate. Master wants me to be a successful person. at first, this ehanced my life considerably as he brought me from an unemployed college drop out to being a college graduate with a good and stimulating job. Then he wanted me to be even more successful so he made me apply to law school and I got into a well regarded school. But I do not know what to do because I do not know if I want to serve Master forever.

I know lawyers that live in trailer parks and barely pay their bills.  Being a lawyer doesn't guarantee success.  Lawyers are a dime a dozen, there are too many of them.  Do what you want to do, otherwise you're going to resent it and end up hating him later on.

Oh well, in that case...

This is precisely what happens if you do not go to a top ranked school. Seriously, law is not like the rest of America. You get hired based on where you go to school. Graduating from a top ranked school does in fact guarentee a six figure salary even if you are the bottom of your class. As for liking it though, that is another story.

Master ordered me to become successfull, believed in me and pushed me into getting an education far beyond what I was doing for myself when we met. (all while I assume he also made it a financial possibility) and I'm mad at him for it.

Just offering another way this post could be viewed. I backspaced though it once to tone it down a bit.

He did not finance it.

This is one of these cases where you have to tell "Master" to kiss your ass. If you do not want to be a lawyer, DO NOT BE ONE! These are other peoples lives you will be fucking with, and they are expecting to be hiring someone with a passion for it, who will give 110% because they are fighters with a love of the law -not because "master" told them to practice law. I dont care if you practice something as simple as real estate closings - I could get a shitty deal on a piece of property with bad title because your heart isnt in it. Family law? People can lose their kids or 1/2 their assets etc... Criminal law, someone may spend years in prison or face the needle because youre listening to master.

Furthermore, to be frank, a sub shouldnt be a lawyer. A lawyer should be a nut cutting, tooth and nail fighting, bitch / bastard cocksucker from hell. A good lawyer is a hemmeroid looking for an ass.... What is a sub going to do when the assertive type A personality opposing counsel firmly makes a shitty offer? Bow their head and say "Yes, my Lord" and take it? Gonna let your client take 6 months in jail for a first offense jaywalking because the ADA is a dominant personality?

If you are going to practice law your duty is to your CLIENTS not "master" and master is a fucking idiot to try to extend his dominance into the realm of third parties who will be represented by a lawyer who doesnt have her heart in it. If you dont put your foot down and say no- please e-mail me what office youre practicing out of so I can make sure I dont accidentally hire you?

I also did not have health insurance or a gym membership or furniture when i met my Master.

Thus, one can't argue that he made me better off. So I am scared to find out what will happen without him. Will I become inert and unable to accomplish anything without his constant push and punishment for failure?

Hilarious! Your sense of comic timing is spot-on.

Honey, as a former pro-Domme, I can tell you that the best law firms are simply crawling with obsequious male submissives. Think about that the next time you are getting legal advice from some high powered partner.

OK I'll leave this one alone then, you seem to have come to strangers before you have talked with Master. I have to assume then you are seeking reinforcement for a decission you already have made in your mind.

Im not ready to go to him yet.

My problem is that I am a dysfunctional person that seems to need Master in order to reach my full potential. Unfortunately, my Master also seems to be a dysfunctional person in his own right.

Thus, I am not sure if I should accept myself this way and assume that we fit or if I should try and see what I can do on my own. I may lose him forever which is hard because I love im.

How about just asking for time away? Then you'll know. If you really miss him, beg him to take you back.
