I guess it is a sign of the times, but I find it ironic that a site called Collarme cannot allow pictures of bondage in the profiles.

LOL .... too funny Sir. And yes it is Ironic. However I am sure with all the lawsuits people place on public domains for porn that the creators of this site wanted no open doors to such an event. Just my thoughts on the matter.

Realistically though who needs those pics HERE? We all know what's behind the lifestyle and what we do. Besides I kind of like the pics from LadyBoa, OsideGirl, EmeraldSlave2 and many others. They're intriuging and let my imagination run wild...........

Regarding pics...I appreciate that there are limits as to what pics can be posted. If you want to argue that - just think what altdotcom is like, with all the cock pics. Boring.

Besides, with a little creativity, it's not hard to take a pic with erotic context but still tasteful.

I appreciate it too!

I can't believe some photos I've viewed on 'other' sites, in personal profiles. There's a way to be alluring in photos, but I think they should save the obscene shots for when they know someone, and know they can appreciate that type of photo.

I find some bondage shots to be very sexy, but have viewed others that are a bit harsh (IMO), if on a "personals" site. Hard to figure the rules sometimes, but it's up to the site to decided, as many of us have learned.

I am a little curious as to why my own photo disappeared here though, on the Message Boards. It was my profile photo (which still remains). Perhaps someone didn't like my legs. [sm=lol.gif] And now...I can't find a way to "upload." Not important. I've gotta take new photos anyway! [;)]

There's a movement going on that is attempting to shut down "unsavory" sites. I've heard murmurings (on Usenet) of Erotic story sites being forced to shut down. Stay tuned, but it seems as if there is a movement brewing to "clean up the internet". This is not new but it seems to be gaining a bit of power.

I would imagine that this is one reason that CollarMe.com may want to steer clear of the explicit photographs.

It doesn't really matter to me that CM.com won't show the bondage pics. Bondage pics can be found anywhere and for me, it's fun to see how some people use their imagination to get their point across with their profile photograph. Besides, if that person wants to show more, a simple trading of IM's or e-mails is all that it takes.

And one more point: Collarme.com is one of the only remaining (if not the best) FREE BDSM personals services on the internet. That is you can search and reply to any advertisement without paying any fee. The only way they have been able to remain open and FREE is some very shrewd and sound business decisions. Whatever the Site owners need to do to keep this site open and available, I say "ROCK ON!"

Hello All,
I on the other hand appreciate the free web site for being here to serve me and want nothing in return.
I don't know if you know it, but you can indeed display bondage photos in collarme to the general public in the message board photo section.
For example I have a photo of my 1st suspension ever in the photo section of the message board they would not permit in my profile.
I say overall if you want to show anyone you choose to show the specific graphic content photos you can also attach them in your private messages you send to them.
It's a minor beef in the whole buffet offered here & complaining is pointless.

I agree that alt is inundated with those kinds of pics, personally, I don't like it.. If I don't get to see your eyes there's a good chance I won't be talking to you. But the point isn't that collarme simply doesn't allow them, it's the fact that the choice whether or not to allow them has been taken from them.... the freedom to decide what type of pics they have.

i didn't think it was that bad, just a drawing, but she did have some lose tie things draped around her... not really tied tho.

better get back the cleavage shot i guess....
