Ha! that happened while i was living happily in a nice poly family in Cleveland. 2 Dom men, 3 or 4 Dom women (depending upon when you did your counting)
I had this one sister sub who moved there to join us. She could not explain to her mother why she moved to Cleveland. or why some 'nice married couple who are friends of mine' (as she described the poly household to her mother) would want her living with them.
she told me that everytime she spoke to her mother on the phone, her mother would say things like, 'are you okay? do you need anything? anything at all? are you sure you are okay?' she said, 'you know, my mother thinks i have joined a cult.'
so, whenever she was on the phone with her mom, i'd hear her saying, 'I'm fine, Mom. really. I have everything I need. No, Really.'
So I'd walk by her saying, 'Tell your mother to send quarters! We need Quarters! The aliens are coming to save us, but they only take Quarters! We need Quarters for Fare! Tell her to send us LOTS of Quarters!'
And she would pretend to ignore me till she could get off the phone, then attempt to kick my ass!
