I'm a Dominant and the phrases I hate the most are: From my sub: "fine" usually in response to my asking how he is feeling when I know he is sick/depressed. "But your the Mistress you shouldn't (fill in the blank)." Yes, I am the Mistress and I will do what I want to do. Usually in response to my picking up something heavy that I really shouldn't be but we D types tend to be stubborn sometimes[sm=trident.gif] From my Um: "I know Mother!" You really want me stewing over this, trying to figure out what the heck I did, until you decide to talk about whatever it is?? "Whatever." Great... thanks for telling me that my thought or opinion is irrelevant, without having the balls to actually say it. Sentence "fillers" - my ex has this one down to a fine art. It wouldn't be half so bad if it was a single word such as "like" or "um", but nooooo, he has to use entire sentences as sentence fillers. For instance: "But in the same sentence I could say..." (WTF does THAT mean anyway), "and things of that nature" (used when there are no other "things"... for instance, "I was doing my laundry and things of that nature" - all he was doing was laundry). Later... or references to it. "with all due respect" "actually" - pet peeve since being a tour guide and the word was banned by the boss. You never (actually) need to use this word.
