I was wondering if there are any other subs/slaves that are required to keep everything shaved and what the best method is to use. I am in search of anything that can help this process become a little easier as I cannot use products like Nair or Neet, and razors are getting expensive. Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks!

submissivej -> RE: Shaving (5/15/2008 11:20:31 AM)

I shaved for years. Yes, razors get expensive after awhile. What i finally found that worked better was waxing. I get a Brazilian wax at a professional salon once a month. That is all it takes, just once a month. If your hair grows faster, then it might take a trip more often but I find that most people only have to have it done once a month. The cost varies depending on where you live. Where I live now there are no salons and I am due. Might have to give it a try myself. If done by someone with experience it can be quick and not too painful. Be sure to ask them about their experience.

There are tons of threads about shaving here.

Use the search function.

I broke out like a big dog the one and only time i shaved. Now my Sir uses his beard clipper on me. It doesn't cut the hair so short as to cause folliculitis and ingrown hairs, but looks good.

I'm completely shaved.  It's something I prefer, and it's something I chose.  My Owner happens to prefer it as well, but it's not exactly required.

I dunno, but I have to shave a few times a week and I don't go through razors that fast.  I don't use shaving cream, rather I use my bodywash, which is Softsoap and pomegranate scented.  It works approx. eleven billion times better on me than shaving cream, and it's far more plentiful.

Good evening!
  Shaving used to freak me out..I was so scared as I have never ever done it. But actually after a few times you get into your own groove and what works best for you. Preferably I would like to be waxed but have not gotten up the nerve to go do it yet. But I lay on my bed a towel (for under me), a mirror that has a magnifying side, a Noxema bikini razor(3 for 1.99 and I can use each razor twice), sensiteive formula shaving gel, a washcloth and a little bowl of warm water. Then I take a hot shower and get on the bed and towel. Be sure to prop your mirror using pillows so you have extra free hands. Be careful getting the shaving gel everywhere-I start from the bottom up. Only go over the area twice and I know it feels like sometimes you did not get it all but icky razor burn!!! Give yourself plenty of time, rinse your razor after each time, and BREATHE!!

I started out doing it twice a week, just to get used to it and now can do it every 2 days. In between days though at first, you may have to loofah a bit just to avoid any ingrown hairs but you should be okay afterwards. Feel free to mail...I was just as nervous the first time but for health reasons I had to learn. Good luck!!

Love,
Zechriel

Try using shampoo.  It softens the hair, eating up fewer razors.  That's why we use it on our heads, right?  I find it eliminates a lot of the problems I ran into when I started shaving again.  As for getting waxed there?  I'm thinking if it ain't sex or medicine, no one's getting that close...lol.

However, it does sound like an interesting new kink.  Hmm...wonder how much one of those home kits cost??  Excuse me.  It's time for some internet shopping.

phoenixinchains -> RE: Shaving (5/17/2008 7:39:05 PM)

shampoos have acid that clean, but dry out hair and surrounding skin. this is why it's unwise to shampoo your hair everyday. you'll wreck your natural ph and creat skin issues... however conditioners moisterize and work very well in place of shaving cream.

StormsSlave -> RE: Shaving (5/18/2008 3:31:43 AM)

phoenix--I've used both.  A good moisturizer will take care of any dryness, and you're going to use it anyway, I hope, so either way, they both work.

phoenixinchains -> RE: Shaving (5/18/2008 3:41:01 AM)

true...

i have a tip that might answer a future question.

get a deodorant stick that's a solid, but turns clear when applied. run between the crease where your lower torso and legs connect, with grain of hair growth, after you've removed the hair. this prevents friction burn when the hair starts growing back.

Yes, sounds like what I do.... shaving gel, razor, mirror, washcloth.... and away I go.... every 2 days. It's becoming a ritual for me in between seeing Sir. As long as we are in this relationship, that is what I will be doing ;-)
I wouldn't go and get a wax, only because it wouldn't be the same if some stranger removed all the hair in a clinical environment.
This is something private I do for Him.

Uyraell -> RE: Shaving (6/16/2008 4:16:59 PM)

A viable aternative is "sugaring" : a middle eastern technique. It can be difficult to find someone who performs it though.  From My reading on the topic (helping one of My ^[girls]^ in her research) the "sugar" is a paste made of various herbs and such, in a  powder matrix that is applied after being dampened to form the paste.  What I've read indicates that after the third time it has been done, the regrowth of the hair is lessened by about 60% and thus treatments are less frequently needed.
I hope this information is of assistance.
Blessed be, ^Uyraell^.

daddysliloneds -> RE: Shaving (6/16/2008 5:19:25 PM)

if someone else is 'requiring you' to keep clean shaven, then let them buy the razors; problem solved!

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: Shaving (6/16/2008 7:33:49 PM)

Though not a sub, I do prefer to stay clean shaven or sport a "landing strip."  I have a Lady Remington Wet-Dry electric razor with a titanium screen.  With proper cleaning, the electric's razor blades last considerably longer than other razors (I've only had to replace them once in three years) and the screen is hypoallergenic.  I can shave everything with the electric except the labia.  For that area, I use regular disposable razors.  Cuts down on the expense, big time.

Didn't someone say something about an Epilady for use around the more sensitive areas?

trueshadow -> RE: Shaving (6/16/2008 9:43:52 PM)

I find being shaved to be somewhat emasculating, and I enjoy shaving chest, back, cock, balls, legs, etc.  It makes me feel more of a neutered slave.  It is a lot of work; I shave about twice a week unless I am going to a party.  The stubble can be itchy, though.
