A "Daddy Dom" is a dom who has there sub call them "Daddy" Other than that, it's usually not much different than most BDSM relationships. You still got your collar, bondage gear, whiping tools, and kinky toys.

First of all it really *irks* me when those that don't know a whole lot about the lifestyle think its all about SEX....NOT the case folks...

Now for the *Daddy* Dom, loved the excerpt by angel, hit the nail right on the head, well at least it made alot of sense to me because I never knew what the difference was...Thank you angel....

for me the main difference is the way the Dom treats the sub / slave.....in a more nurturing, loving way...

i'm so use to sadism i'm not sure what i would do.........probably jump for joy half the time and go nuts the rest because i like both sides....

I've always been puzzled by that perspective... or rather the implied perspective that other dominants are less nurturing or loving.

One thing I have noticed, Daddy Doms can be ..well, more like a Dad at times, yet also keep the sterness a father needs with their kid while allowing the sub to grow ..In one way its just another path on the trip to life

You are who you are... sounds like what you are concerned with is not living up to some set of societal expectations. My question to you or any other submissive who felt this way... are you having a relationship with your dom... or with society/religion/feminism/etc.?

*Padriag* I am unowned, So no I am not having a relationship with a Daddy..

And in all honesty, I don't give a rats butt what society thinks, but then again being unowned I tend to try and serve *others/everybody*(not sexually) but in general. Volunteer work with local animal rescue, vol. fire fighter..Yep, I am certified, go figure. Hope that makes sense..... If and when the time comes that I find the right One, W/we click then for sure won't care for anyone/body other than Him. And I hope that He respect me enough that I can continue with volunteer work and taking care of Him.
