Ok, I have to ask.  Who ever said Adam Sandler movies were good in the first place?

beargonewild -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 7:26:26 AM)

Sad to say, I know a few people who absolutely love his movies.

christine1 -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 8:24:42 AM)

i don't like anything with adam sandler or ben stiller and  i don't like chic flicks either.

i also hate the torture "horror" films and anything by rob zombie, i don't like coming away feeling disturbed after i see a movie.

rubberpet -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 8:27:46 AM)

The Bourne movies seem to hold this title with me.  Everyone I know loves them, yet I think that they absolutely suck hairy monster ass...and I'm an action movie junkie! [&:]

Asherdelampyr -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 8:28:15 AM)

Queen of the Damned didnt count as a good movie... it is reserved for that hell that lawyers go to when they die...
Bloodrayne was even worse (Fuck Uwe Boll)
I cant fucking stand Napolean Dynamite, I spent at least 1/2 an hour waiting for the funny part to start, to realize my waiting was in vain :(

Oh, c'mon...if you watch it enough times, they're bound to learn that the big fucking ice cube is there.  I'll keep on hoping! [8|]

mercifulsiren -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 9:07:10 AM)

Titanic is one of the most horrible movies I have ever seen.  My best friend begged me to go see that movie with her and about half way through the movie I fell asleep.

SylvereApLeanan -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 12:36:01 PM)

Star Wars (all of them)
Lord of the Rings (all of them)
Perfume
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Interview With A Vampire
Hideaway

Arrrchibald -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 1:08:47 PM)

All 6 Star Wars movies
All 3 Godfather movies
Last 2 Lord of the Rings movies
Titanic
ANYTHING from Wes Anderson

I'd take an Adam Sandler marathon over any of those.

pissthirstysub -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 3:18:59 PM)

David Lynch films, notably Erasurehead and Muholland Dr. I can never get into them, whatever the message is it is just too ambiguous for me.

I hated Forrest Gump. Absolutely with a passion hated that movie. A whole movie about some retard living out a fantasy in his head. WTF??? Oh and another one that was supposed to be so special back in it's day, and I thought was just stupid, was Sleepless in Seattle. What a ridiculous premise. That's all I can think of. Most of the movies I hated, everyone else did too.

Oh my god, thank you! I am not alone! Forrest Gump made me want to vomit, it was so worthy and complacent. Bleurgh [:D].

 Muholland Drive

One of my fave movie of all times.

pissthirstysub -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 3:29:42 PM)

I just think Napolean Dynamite is generally not good.

pissthirstysub -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 3:38:01 PM)

What did you get out of Muholland Dr.?

So many in the BDSM community liked "Exit to Eden" Obviously, they didn't read the book. The book is great... the movie stank on ice.

AMEN!!!!!

If that's the one I'm thinking of...Was Nick Nolte a Detective in it? If that's the one, I liked the clothes. I could take or leave the movie, but the suits were killer.

kittinSol -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 3:52:34 PM)

No, Nick Nolte is not in it. Mulholland Drive

The film is a depiction of the director's vision. It's a work of art more than a narrative, full of pure emotions. It's visually stunning and completely unintelligible, which is why many people don't get it, but if you accept that you just have to ride it without asking too many questions, it's enthralling.

The closest I'll ever come to faith, from what I hear :-) .

sweetnurseBBW -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 4:14:44 PM)

I hated Titanic also. I think it was all the hype that was built up around it.

Nolte was in Mulholland Falls. CuffKinks, I was thinking the same thing.

happypervert -> RE: Good movies you Hate (5/18/2008 4:56:04 PM)

I didn't exactly hate The Shining, but I just thought it was mostly boring.

Really hated Forrest Gump. And there's an Ang Lee movie called The Ice Storm that the critics loved and I absolutely hated.
