I have to agree with you. Although the tone in this posting has been on the light side (some good laughs in here), I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone post something or posted something myself, only to have everyone jump in and tear the OP (dom or sub-no matter) to absolute shreds. I remember one poor guy posting about having been torn up by a pro domme he didn't know and he wanted to know what to do about the marks she left behind. For the first dozen posts, people chewed him out for not knowing who he was playing with better. And that helped him how? I think a lot of times people are in too big a hurry to show their own superiority to actually read the OP and give a good answer.

Actually, when people are talking from behind a keyboard, it's easy to be rude. You get that sense of anonymity (sp?) that makes you feel like you can say whatever you want and get away with it. After all, how likely is it that you're going to meet any of these people face to face and have to answer for your actions?

Perhaps I should add.....

Sometimes silence is the better part of valor. If someone really turns me off or upsets me, I would rather ignore them than send a nasty message back. If I don't think they're going to pop back with some smart a** vengeful rebuttal, I'll let them know why I'm not going any further with the conversation and wish them well. REALLY!
