Status: offline 		I often wonder what prompts the things I receive in My mailbox.  I find Myself neither raving beauty, nor everyone's dream Domme.  It perplexes Me as to why they write.  I am far from the perfect vision, yet they come.

Let's talk about the drive that makes them do this.

Everyone has a different motivation.
These are some of the ones I have come across.
1 Finding the one to end their days with.
2 Someone to add spice/excitement to their lives.
3 Kinky sex which they can not get in everyday life.
4 An easier life being a kept man.
5 Getting their fetishes met.
6 A need to be needed.
7 Knowing they are a shit and wanting someone to change them.
8 A free session or two to find out what it's all about.
9 Wanting someone to spend their money on.
10 Someone to love them.
I could go on and on but there is really no point. If people are honest it will be on their profile. I've been treated like shit by lots and lots of men. They come into the lifestyle to get their needs met very few are actually interested in my needs.

Why do they write any of us?  Why do people on the other side of the world write asking to serve me?  Desperation and fantasy fulfillment, I think.  Back when I was a pro, I got more than a few breathless calls from men who were just overwhelmed that they were talking to an actual dominant.

Status: offline 		It's the red hair and - as aptly mentioned before - the Power of the Pussy.  You're a pretty woman.  They want you to be thier fantasy girl.  If you say "No" they write to the next one.  *shrug*

HNG's are everywhere.  I know I always sound like a grandma complaining "Back in the Day".... but when I spent so much time on adult mIRC channels, I really thought I was the most beautiful woman in the world!  Every man on the channel told me I was!  Then I noticed they said the exact same things to every single female on the channel!  I was a sys op - so I could read the logs from the channel bot.  If the 'popular' girls - that means the sys ops - were not there, the very same men used the exact same lines on any female present.  Whatever it took to get Boobs on the Ref (Video chatt).

That's why I was whining yesterday about "All the Good Ones are taken."  I just sift through SO MUCH Shit that all sounds the same.  Most messages are just "You're Beautiful!" or "Nice Ass".  If I just delete them, I get a percentage that write back "Why were you so rude to me?  I just paid you a compliment!"  Or if I try to get to know them and their kinks don't line up with mine, they complain "Why did you ASK if you didn't want to know?"  With some people.... you just can't win.

So the subs keep trying.  Bless their little hearts.  You gotta know it's really TOUGH for the good ones to get noticed.  So the keep on writing hopeing that some nice Domme like you LadyPact will answer them.... and be their dream come true.

Sometimes I think it has to be the same compliments they send to every woman whose profile shows up on their screen, but I prefer to believe there's something they truly find appealing. It's much better for my ego to give them the benefit of the doubt that there is something sincere, even if it's obvious they didn't read the entire profile.

They say hello, I ask "What prompted you to write, BESIDES the fact that I'm a dominant female"
The HNGs don't have an answer and the other one or three begin conversation.

So, when they write you, ask them why... and if they think you're fishing for compliments, you can just direct them to this thread to show them that we on the boards can give you that when you need it!

Who knows why people write...or don't. I get very little mail. The amount of mail I got dropped drastically when I changed from Mistress to Master. So, obviously the screen name is important.

I also started to get less mail when I started talking about spirituality rather than barking orders and describing fetishes, so apparently the perception that we'll oblige their fetishes and fantasies is a factor.

I also get more mail depending on the picture I have as the opening picture. The uniform gets little...and what it does get is usually from lesbian or bi women (not that I'm complaining...just stating a fact).

So, those are some of my possibilities.
