i do understand better, especially where Archer said "So beyond the word of the people involved their value lies only in that they spell out the agreement in specific terms with less room for misunderstanding than just talking about it it solidifies what the terms are instead of relying on memory of who said what when." which makes a lot of sense, but really everything OsideGirl an' Archer said helped.
