Now honestly how are these people sappost to reply if they are chained away from a computer?
 
Master goes to work, i keep up with the house. We roam the wal-mart together, smacking each other's bums in a never ending "last-one-to-smack-wins" game.
 
Though i have been accused of being "a recluse" and "never leaving the house" when He is away, it's not because i'm chain in place until His return.

 Another boring O/p couple heard from. We spend our evenings watching our favorite shows, and during the day if I don't have school, cleaning, talking, laughing. I do the majority of the cleaning, he does the laundry because he has a thing with laundry. Sometimes we "argue" over who will cook because we both love it so. Weekends are spent visiting art galleries, or parks, because we are foodies we spend a great amount of time finding the out of the way restaurants that serve great food.
 
If "newbies" or fantasy folks were to peer into our lives they would  immediately turn and run, far to boring I suspect for them. While kink and sex are important it is a small piece of the whole picture. He dictates our lives and I happily follow his lead. Simple and boring. LOL

Status: offline 		For us I guess we do and we don't live the lifestyle 24/7. To everyone around us we may look like a normal couple. We do "normal" things. Of course when it comes to helping around the house my friends may think that my Dominant doesn't do much. I take care of the cooking, cleaning. laundry, outside and inside stuff. He takes care of the cars  and technology stuff (just cause He is soo much better at it then me) When it comes to decision I run mostly everything by Him for his viewpoint on things. He does say that I could be more submissive in some categories, but at the same time It is hard for me to give up some of my independence. I dont think it is reality for a submissive to be chained down and in a constant state of service that we read in books such as Gor etc. There are real life issues to deal with. Like someone said if the submissive is always in chains then how do they deal with other things. You cant necessarily go to the grocery stores naked and  in chains can you?  I do think that the awesome thing for us, the further away your property is from the rest of the world. There is always the chance for playing outside and doing the grass mowing naked (minus shoes of course) but even I dont mow the grass  or garden naked- the ticks would be crazy lol..

Status: offline 		The fantasy is nice, but to be honest I would be bored so fast my head would spin AND it would be out of character for me. Keeping up with Laundry, food, housework is all part of the relationship and I try to make sure that Master has very little to do when he gets home save relax.. I do have my orders and obey them. But I also study as well as handle a lot of things that can crunch up against those hour he is home and he accomodates that as well. When I am working on a web site, every thing takes a back seat to my deadline. Master's Orders.

Kneeling? Really bad knees and neuropathy in my legs..I can get down there, but Master would need a small crane to get me back up. Nekkid I usually am anyway..or a caftan depending on the day..full access but no shock to the neighbors if I have to be outside. The service however, that is always at the front of my mind, in everything I do for him and with him, even if it is not evident to others.

Status: offline 		After reading all the  posts - i occured to me that to be chained in a cage waiting for master would be one of the most boring things imaginable.  Does anyone else have trouble with the idea of spending 9 hours in a cage with no access to a toilet?   or a book?

Now, when i am home i do spend all my time naked- at Sirs direction. He likes his girls naked and accessable - and once i got over the "i hate my body"  and "oh my god, i can't appear infront of people naked" things, i enjoy being naked. Way less laundry - i work in scrubs and come home in them, so i don't have to wash them, and don't change at home - just shuck them.  And so comfortable. If Sir didn't enjoy watching me he would instruct me to cover up, so whats not to love.
Doing mundane chores naked is so comfortable , but they are still mundane, not erotic, not sexy, just necessary.

i did wonder who washed the floors and toys in the Beauty series. there was no mention of servants cleaning, just cooking and massaging.  Not that i read them over and over again!     Ah well, i enjoy a good fantasy as much as the next person. Sigh - back to the dishes...............................................

For me, it also raises the issue of who is really whose slave.

The person living out their fantasies by being kept in a cage and not having any chores or work to do for hours at a time or the one not only holding the key but also running the entire household by holding down a job and then coming home to a household where daily mundane necessities still need to be done. Even if done by the released slave it then takes away time from supposed master when it could have been done either during the day or tasks shared together when necessary.

To add to the OP... our reality today is shopping for flowers and spending the day doing yard work.  Much of the time he sat in a chair supervising while Alandra, the kids and I did the work  *g*  It's good to be the boss...

Status: offline 		Our definition of 24/7 includes work and homelife.  My job is to make sure His needs are taken care of at all times...not to sit around naked tied to a chair.  Then, i would be useless to Him.  I raise Our children, handle domestic chores, make sure the house is run smoothly so all He has to do is come home and eat, love the kids, and relax.  :)
