Stewart recreates and clarifies the rhetoric in the run up to war while Douglas Feith spews endless bullshit. Feith simply cannot admit the truth and yet we all remember what happened and know he's lying. And he knows he's lying!

...if I heard it once I heard it 10 times that "someone should put a bullet in his head." That, fortunately, is just loose talk, and even more fortunately not the way we do things in America. In any event, if an American jury were to find Bush guilty of first-degree murder, it would be up to them to decide what the appropriate punishment should be, one of their options being the imposition of the death penalty.

Although I have never heard before what I am suggesting -- that Bush be prosecuted for murder in an American courtroom -- many have argued that "Bush should be prosecuted for war crimes" (mostly for the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo) at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands. But for all intents and purposes this cannot be done.

what, torture hasn't been happened under the rule of other presidents? bush isn't the only bad president or leader that america has had....

Torture is a part of war - GET OVER IT! Did the Vietnameese turn down john mc cains pillow and give him a mint and a terry cloth robe at night? Did the Iraqis do the same for Jeff Zahn? EACH AND EVERY AMERICAN POW IN THE 1991 Gulf War was tortured, several MALE AND FEMALE were raped. (Thats a fact, thanks to the horny cornholers of the iraqi army, sexual assault resistance was added to SERE training, leading to the airforce academy scandal.) Ok the Geneva Accords are toilet paper and only two countries in history ever followed it - Nazi Germany and US! (The Nazis were actually quite good to POW's , not concentration camp inmates / political prisoners I am talking POW's. If you were captured by the japaneese you were as good as dead...)

There are soooooooooooooo many atrocities of humanity to obsess about where we were the VICTIM - Unit 731, the death march on battan, the burma railroad, The Hanoi Hilton, the various pleasant camps in Laos and Cambodia, and on and on and on.... For Christs sake NOBODY IS BEING TORTURED.

Waterboarding is not torture, its scary and unpleasant yes but it leaves no long lasting effects. Ive had it done to me in SERE. In fact, while I cannot tell you exactly what goes on in a SERE class because it is classified CONFIDENTIAL, let me tell you that WORSE has been done to each and every american aircrew member, special forces member, intelligence officer, and anyone else requiring SERE level C before deployment.... I was hospitalized and needed rabies shots after my SERE class... The purpose of a SERE class is to train you for what they WILL do to you if captured. What our loving, kind, gentle, humane enemies will do to an american prisoner.... In my SERE class a guy had to be removed because he attempted suicide by BITING his wrists cause he didnt have anything to slash them with... Thats how pleasnant it is...

Torture - LMFAO THEY PUT PANTIES ON THEIR HEADS! Fucking panties! OK Jesus Christ being forced to drink alcohol, eat barbecued pork and to wear panties on your head. Thats torture? Sounds like a fun night at Kev's house! Fuck lets have a pig roast, break out the bottle of Jerimiah Weed and my Frozen Concoction maker and all the ladies can put their panties on my head ok??? I volunteer for torture.

Well not exactly. The Nazis weren't very hospitable to their Russian prisoners. If we want to call ourselves a civilized, democratic society than we don't torture prisoners. It doesn't produce good information, which has been proven. All it does is give propaganda for terrorists so they can recruit more people. It's just a stupid, pointless thing to do.

There is no doubt in my mind that Bush and Cheney fabricated arguments to justify a war to appease a personal vendetta on Bush’s part and personal gain on Cheney’s part.

BUT it will never be proved and Bush will never be held accountable so no use in wasting time now.

We need to look forward and not back if we have any hope of regaining our self-respect…and the hell with how others see us.

Maybe a few decades in the future the truth will come out…but not now.

I agree with Aviator.
I never went to SERE school in the Navy or the Coast Guard but I know people who did.
C.G. schools were more law enforcement based.
But on "Hell Night" we did worse than "waterboarding" to the junior guys as well as wrapping a kercheif over their faces and pouring water on them while six strong guys pinned them to the deck.
The military is not the fuckin' Boyscouts.
Anyone who says that "Abu Gharib" stuff is torture is a pantywaiste! A pussy.
They do worse things to you at U.Mass initiations!

Well yes it is unpleasant... But torture - No absolutely not. No permanent harm is done... As I said Ive actually BEEN waterboarded, and it was far from the most painful or frightening experience at SERE. Its no worse than those in this community who engage in breath play...

Thats something I find sooooooooo ironic here, that some people are so outraged by things we might do to murdering terrorist thugs who want to exterminante us as a people.... Yet they are seeking pain sluts they can "break physically and mentally"... Ever checked out some of the profiles here or gone into a chatroom? There are doms looking to do things that make abu graib look like girlscout camp....

Obviously there is a load of people doing crazy consensual activities like these all over the place, the difference is that you don't know it's not going to lead to your death. It’s not harmless either it does do physical damage as well as mental.

Just because it doesn't draw blood or leave scars doesn't mean it's not torture, except in your personal glossary. But then you love to play fast and loose with meanings.
