It's true! The very sight of a woman wearing a fringed scarf is a threat to our national security!
Just check the picture here, and read Michelle Malkin's warning! Michelle says:"

And Michelle isn't alone! Here's rightie imbecile, Charles Johnson, wetting his pants over a scarf!

It's just a scarf. I've seen that scarf so many times in stores, it's a nice pattern and it went well with the outfit she was wearing.

People should stop reading into everything and take a chill pill.

And even if it WAS some sort of Islamic symbol...so what? It's not a crime. I don't see Rachel Ray bombing anyone. She only bombs with great food and amusing humor.

This is why I don't give much credence to professional political bloggers or even newspaper opinion columnists.  Writers of that stripe have to come up with new material regularly.  Honestly, there is not much going on that isn't being talked about.  So people like Michelle Malkin seize on a scarf in a Dunkin' Donuts advertisment to have something to write about.  Right wing bloggers are not the only ones that do it.  They all stir up controversy over incredibly stupid things, that's their job.  It's not news, it's entertainment.  It's not new, it's been done in newspapers for a hundred years.

Nah, there is just a club of Rachael Ray haters out there, jealous of her success and perkiness.  People like that tend to dig pretty deeply into their asses for shit to scatter around.

I work with a woman who practices Islam, and she wears one every day.  She even jokes around about it, about how it's almost become a fashion statement for them (she has one with Calvin Klein's "CK" logo all over it. It has nothing to do with being a symbol of terrorism for God's sake.  Or Allah's.

If you wanna piss off the dumbasses, just buy more Dunkin' Donuts products, keep the stock prices up [8D].

We were watching the film version of "On The Buses" yesterday (60s/70s sitcom in the UK) - the number of white women walking the streets with headscarves back then........

I quite fancy getting me a headscarf like my grandmas and my aunt wore - an invaluable item when the slightest draught outdoors sends one's locks into chaos!

But
a) its not very fashionable
b) it somehow makes me a Muslim, hence a terrorist

So, is the mark of a western woman to be unkempt hair, and any woman with tidy hair is suspect?

Damn it!!!!  Just when I was making progress on my diet.  Maybe I'll just buy a couple of dozen and give them to some of the homeless around here..... NO... I just got an idea.  I'll buy a couple of dozen and take them down to the Home Depot and give them to the illegal aliens hanging around for jobs.  Get twice the bang for my protest buck.
