Most of my list has already been posted by others ... who I must say have excellent musical tastes.  I did miss one of my all time favorites: They Might Be Giants.  I will still start humming "Particle Man" for no reason at all sometimes when I'm working.

Bad Religion
Bad Brains
Cramps
Ramones
Misfits
Vandals
Descendents
Primus
Midnight Oil
Violent Femmes
Pogues
Cranberries
Camper Van Beethoven
AC/DC
Credence Clearwater Revival

Those are just the ones off the top of my head.  I never was very good at making favorite lists.  My moods change too much to have favorites.

Of course, I excluded the bands that only had one or two songs that I liked.  I also excluded bands that I won't admit to liking.

I thought about listing the Cramps, but they ain't exactly a name band. "Bikini Girls with machine Guns" what a masterpiece. CCR I forgot.  Violent Femmes rock.  Bad Brains damn near invented punk.

Minutemen
Ministry
Butthole Surfers
how could I forget the Who? FFS

Man, too bad you didn't have more time up here. I have some early Johnny Cash, Elvis, Carl Perkins, & Jerry Lee here - early Sun stuff on vinyl. Wait till I get my good audio gear fixed.

Thornhappy's an electronics genius... maybe I can bribe her to fix that and my Super-Reverb with some home-cooked grub?
