Thinking more on this....I know that if my partner immediately jumped up after sex to brush his teeth or wash I would feel hurt. It would come across to me that they thought that I was "dirty" somehow.

I agree that the timing is important in connection with this, and that it should not be the first thing on one's mind. I think it's vital to keep the focus on the state of 'togetherness'; it's important to me and I think it's important to most people. - Though I guess that if you found yourself in the bathroom together with your partner in the course of cleaning up, and he suggested that you both brushed your teeth that wouldn't bother you...?

The way I see it, all is fair in love. I expect her to swallow, so why should I be bothered by the taste of it. Just as if a woman could not stand tasting herself on my lips after I went down on her, then why should she expect me to go there in the first place?
