I am so sorry, it is hard to lose a loved one, especially when experiencing the pain he has been though and trying to fight the disease. My prayers are with you!

I just cannot get over how wonderful and kind all of you have been during this time. You are the best group of friends I could ask for. I'm so happy for you that you know that he is not suffering; and that as much as we would love to share this world with the ones we love some more, there will be more happiness and more lovely times in the future. I wish for you strength, peace and joy.

Thank you all so deeply. This is going to be a very rough evening at the viewing and the funeral is tomorrow. I am absolutely floored at the number of people who are expected to attend. My brother touched soooo many lives. I am honored to have him as my big brother. Everyone should have one as special as him in their lives. I'm sure I'll be off and on here the next few days, to get my infusion of smiles. Humor is a coping skill and a maintenance "drug" of choice for me. Thank you all for helping me stay on top of my "therapy." Blessings, DRH
