Of course the initiative would have to work up the legal ladder from a state to a federal level. The point being, someone has to start the process. Why not give it a go? I have been divorced for 10 years. During my marriage, I felt very depressed and powerless to try to communicate to a mentally, abusive, drunken man who preferred to spend more time in the bars than with his family. To some, marriage is good when it works but really sucks when people refuse to compromise and come to a better understanding of making it better. It is not to say I am against marriage; however, I would like to be in a healthy relationship plus the added kink for a little spice!
