this could easily be solved by the site owners limiting mails to three a day. And auto kicking/banning anyone that sends more than one that is identical.

Lol....I admit I sometimes dont read profiles too carefully myself. I at least do look at interests and even if I think they are cute wont ask for more than friends if they are taken or I dont think we would be compatible.

I guess I'm one of the few who thought this was a witty post and got a laugh out of it. Master Zen, I perved your profile and I personally don't see anything drastically wrong with it. In fact, you made one or two good points. The forums here on collarme tend to do exactly what they did to you. I've posted things for discussion before and by the fifth or sixth critic, I was sorry I even brought it up. A shame because this IS, as someone pointed out, a place for discussion. You shouldn't have to be afraid to put something out there because everyone is so hostile. Lighten up everyone! The man didn't mean any harm!! I think most of you are taking this waaaay too seriously.

The solution to this spam phenomenon is simple: everybody register as male. Then everybody is required to study profiles in order to determine whether said profile belongs to a male or to a female. Once they know - they will send spam if the profile is a female's.

You also make the EXCELLENT point that there are really only about 5 people total who choose to go ballistic and complain about this post (and apparently they do so on other posts as well) It's just that those 5 people made 6 or 7 negative comments each, so it SEEMED like a lot of people.

I hope the critics who patrol the forums will take a moment and just... relax before they torpedo any of the comments you choose to make in the future.
