lol, like i said, in a few months i'll be missing these temps. i don't have air con here, and last summer, the temperatures were 41+ (as in celcius!)

Well, Angel, if we could somehow flip the earth onto another axis, I'd be glad to trade some of that 48 degrees for some of my 112.  The inside of my apt hasn't seen temps less than 83 now for a month...I'm afraid to open my electric bill when it comes!

I've said it before...there's a reason why Nature is a MOTHER!

But, it's a DRY heat!!!!! 

Really....the difference in humidity is amazing......I grew up on Lake Ontario, and last lived in Chicago.....walking outside in the summer was like walking out into a wet blanket!  EWWWWWWW!  And it's only for about 3 months.....I'll take that over 7 months of winter ANYDAY!

Just keep hydrated...water is the best thing for you.....learned that the hard way my first summer here.  Trust me, you don't wanna go there!

OK, I guess I should 'fess up and admit that I sleep during the day 4 days a week.....but I do get out in it on my days off.....early in the am, and later in the evening.....I don't mind the heat per se...but the SUNBURN is a biotch!  30 minutes outside in this sun, and I'm as red as a lobster!  And that's WITH 45 spf!

I blame Greedy that there was no one in the house but me and the parrot and we woke up to BLISSFUL SILENCE!!  Woke up LATE!
