Okay, Kidney update.

The are sending me to a specialist in Dallas who is qualified to do more procedures in dealing with the lesions. In 20% of the cases, a lesion in the kidney is not cancer. They can remove the kidney, but I already have impaired kidney function from years of substance abuse, and while I would not go on dialysis if they took the kidney it is something that may happen down the road.

They can freeze the tumor, burn the tumor or do a partial removal of the tissue of the tumor leaving the kidney pretty much intact. Or they can decide to watch it and see if it gets larger.

All of that is up to the specialist in Dallas.

Hoping the specialist has some brilliant ideas for Jeff.

On another topic, is anyone else shaking their heads at some of the brand new posters? Especially on Ask a Submissive. I know many colleges are almost over, but I'm suspecting these kids are still in high school. Or is it a full moon?

I have been wondering if school got out early, yes. And I also wonder about the folks who joined in 04-06 who never posted before now but have "discovered" the boards.

I am having fun on Fetl with a similar population. I am really glad that I am not young anymore. If those people were my "peer group"... well... [8|][>:][:(]
