My grandpa had kidney cancer back in the 80s. Medicine has advanced since then.

I heard from the doctor yesterday, he looked at the emailed pictures and seems to think it is a fluid filled mass, not solid. He still wants me to bring the disks but he doesnt think it is cancer, but it is something to be concerned with


He also says that the blood test that revealed a marker (new to me) for a tumor can be a false result.

All I need to worry about are travel expenses, I asked for an appointment in the afternoon so we could drive up the day of the appointment and they got me one EARLY in the morning, so we have to drive up the day before.

Butterhead's birthday is in June. Of course, school is out then. Her teacher asked us if we wanted to have a birthday-day for her before the end of school, and bring in treats. We said yes and picked today.

It was a SUCCESS!

Butterhead and I made apple and berry fruit cups and brownies. We put stickers on the cups and then tied "troll rings" on them with shiny curling ribbon. We also put googley-eyed stickers on the tops of the wrapped brownies. For a party favor we gave out letter and number writing practice notebooks.

Her teachers and classmates LOVED it!

Sounds like the kids had some fun, Aylee.

Jeff, I would go in the night before. Get that kidney looked at before September. I schedule all my appointments in the mornings, depending on the drive time to Tyler or Longview. My next procedure is at 12:15p on Thursday (left nerves being burn off).

Look, since Holly and Potty left, this thread has had periods of NO posts. So we either have to hunt those two down and chain them to a computer that can only access this thread OR we find em and beat em with horse whips... Or both.
