My favourite comic book heroes are:-

#1 Rogue Trooper.

For you American's who may well have missed out on reading 2000AD,

I aways prefered my heroes to be ever so slightly flawed.

And who also operate in post apocalyptic enviroments.

Hence my facination for Rogue Trooper and that post apocalyptic movie icon that is Mad Max!

The Punisher - before they prettied/cleaned him up
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - when they were in black and white and knew how to use thier weapons to kill people

Status: offline 		Hot Stuff, the Little Devil!  He was in the Archie & Richie Rich era, too.  My grandma used to buy them for me up at the little corner store for 12 cents. 

They had ads in the back where you could sell flower & vegetable seeds door-to-door and pick out fabulous and exciting prizes.

Status: offline 		The Crow:  Other than a totally kick ass look, the various Crows were all about making something right that went wrong in a very personal way.  It's often more about love than personal vengeance.  The Crows tend to have a very short life-spand, they do what they came to do; perhaps say a goodbye or two and continue on with their death.

Status: offline 		I'm a traditionalist.   Bruce Banner.   Bruce Wayne.   I like heros with a backstory.  

I like edgy lawyer comic heros, too.  Wolff and Byrd.  Harvey Birdman was always good for a laugh...most of the "adult swim" heros make me chuckle.

Spidey is just too damn angsty in his current invocations.
