I know a lot of people with latex allergies. Wooden ballgags would be interesting - color me intrigued.

I wonder if there's any idea to find out if one's sex toy has harmful chemicals in it. I thought pure silicone was supposed to be relatively safe.

Now depending on where you are residing they should have some establishment where they perform standardized testing. Also with the internet, its not unusual for companies to have product assessments available. Not everything can fit on the packaging, find out more information, just contact the company.
Its always a good idea to check first before sticking anything into your body. We check medications for conflicts, nutritional benefits in food, even food additives. Why not toys as well?

I agree completely. Babeland has very good information about that kind of thing, actually - it's one of the reasons I buy things from them.

Still, these days of Chinese toys coated with lead, and baby formula tainted with toxic chemicals, you can't be too careful. I'd ditch the gag, and find a new one that is made in a reputable country...

Bamboo is also antibacterial. ;) The very reason I use it in my bathrooms and kitchen and toys.
