The 1st time I ever flew(which wasnt too long ago) I was searched from head to toe. I was on the list. Only thing I came up with was that since I had NEVER flown before, they had to search me. Ya know the 1st time flyer thing? Of course I already had the heads up from a frequent flyer of what I could bring and NOT to bring. So I was ok. A few months later, I flew again. I forgot to take the lighter out of my purse and throw it in the glove compartment. Didnt know it. My purse went through x-ray and PASSED. Didnt find the lighter till my lay-over. I went OMG. My face turned beet red. Now I always rememer to take myl ighter out and have matches BEFORE I leave the house.
