Dang it, they are having a huge Obama Rally here tonight at the Nisson Pavillion. I am looking at the long line of cars on the way to see him speak. I had planned on working late, so I really could not have anticipated going. They are expecting 50,000 people there, DAMN why am I not on the way? It's only about 1 hour from me.[sm=nervous.gif] Obama Set to Take Stage at Virginia Amphitheatre - washingtonpost.com Dang at least I can watch it on t.v. I plan to go see him the next time he has a rally in this area. Has anyone ever seen or heard Obama speak in person? Anyone else plan to go see him and hear him speak?

I've heard him speak several times in person. He used to be my state senator. Since he started running for POTUS I haven't been able to go to any of his speeches but I'm going to make a concerted effort to hear one before listening to his speech next January 20th.

No way, I sit in enough traffic on 66 every day the way it is. They're expecting 50,000 people....that idea just doesn't appeal to me, lol.

He can talk for an hour and not say a thing! Some of his fans are so fanatical that if he rubs his nose they start cheering! It's funny as hell! If you like watching paint dry go to one of his ralleys, his "FANS" are more interesting than him. And they said on the News that he is asking Caroline Kennedy to be on a committee to select his V.P. because he wants to "invoke" "the Kennedy name." Boy, that's so "60's." And not very bright either. I wonder what Caroline Kennedy's claim to fame is these days?

I have to agree with Popeye on this one. I've watched him speak on television a couple of times. Never really seen him say anything worth listening to. I know he says things that are total opposite of what his record in congress is. I know he wants to overtax America to fix any debts we may have. I'm a bit tired of all the taxes already.

It is ironic that he chose a Kennedy to help in his vp search because President Kennedy would be in disagreement on so many of Obama's policies, beginning with defense and taxes.

Kennedy Presidential Library Foundation Who can ever forget the pictures of her as a little girl at her daddy's funeral? I am sure he is very proud of his daughter. She is a class act, Popeye. Popeye the crowd behind him is interesting, and the majority of them are White. VA wants to turn a red state--BLUE It is similar to a rock concert! Feel the love! Try to catch it on CSpan, you will love it.

No and no. But before you accuse me of being unfair to him. When I turned on the tv, McCain was speaking. I didn't watch him either. Instead I chose to entertain myself with the lovely Lady Heather. Now I could understand if people were staring at her crotch.

I find it embarrassing and insulting that the only reason people are supporting Obama is because of how he talks... That right there shows the intelligence of average American voters is in the toilet. You know....this is exactly how Hitler won...
