Next Question

This Chinese Warlord during the Three Kingdoms Era was executed by strangulation to humiliate him as this was the method of executing women.  Who was he?  Two points for the correct answer, bonus 5 points if you can name both the Warlord, and the one who had him executed.

I told my Master about the question and my guess. Now he is totally caught up in looking it up. Yes I am being good and not looking at his screen.

housesub4you -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 3:16:03 PM)

Here is the answer in Chinese 呂布 (奉先)

I guess that is not cheating to much, it does not include who the killler was

Yes I looked at his paper, though opted not to included the translation (got to bored reading to find out who the killer was)

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 3:21:16 PM)

In Chinese that is correct, however as you used an outside source I cannot award points unless no one else gets it

housesub4you -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 3:26:32 PM)

It's enough to know my son is doing Dam good work in college, That's all the points I need.  Hell he even knows how to get his computer to write in Chinese, which is way more than me.  I have not got english down yet

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 3:28:56 PM)

Fair enough but if no one else gives it I will award a point despite the outside source since you went to the trouble of posting both his name and stylaized form in Chinese

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 3:41:51 PM)

Will give untill 7:30PM EST if no one gets it will move on to next question

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 4:28:24 PM)

Alright it doesn't look like anyone is going to get it.
The Answer:
Lu Bu, was exectued by strangulation on the orders of the Warlord Cao Cao (also spelled Tsao Tsao).  Cao Cao ordered this punishment normally reserved for women to humiliate Lu Bu because he begged for his life.

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 4:32:22 PM)

Good guess but no, the individual in question while deceased is much more recent.

Lynnxz -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 4:32:55 PM)

Churchhill

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia Doms vs. subs (1/17/2009 4:34:58 PM)

Churchill is correct, since your profile says you are a switch Lynx which team do you wish to award your points toward?
