At the same time part of the purpose of these forums must be to have ongoing conversations so there's no reason not to just pick up the topic afresh each time. Are you trying to derail the present conversation for some reason, or just pointing out the fact that the forums are search-able? Unless you care to point to a particular tidbit of wisdom from old threads I personally won't read them just because those old threads exist. I guess it depends on whether the wisdom on a particular topic is likely to stand the test of time or not.

Questions about hair and shaving are easily as mercurial as any other fashion-related issues, so I could easily see the answers being quite different within a very short time frame based solely on what's fashionable.

I think it is a fashion. I'm not fashionable, I prefer to be natural and I have a preference for the same when I'm with a Dom. I won't ask him not to shave below but I certainly prefer to bury my nose in hair. I've heard all the arguments and still find it's personal preference. Yes, sometimes you can end up with a hair in your mouth when giving oral, but so what? You can end up with hair in your mouth from your long head hair as well.

What I really hate is people telling me I'm not submissive unless I shave my pubic region, I see no corelation at all. It's like saying I'm not submissive unless my eyes are blue, or my hair is red, or my toenails cut.

I also prefer that she shave 'down South'. My preference, nothing more. I wear my hair short just like I did in the military. I tried to grow it long but it drove me crazy in 2 months and I had to have it cut. (My hair is also getting thinner and looks tacky when it's long.)

As for the hair on her head...The longer it is the more I like it. :)

Status: offline 		I prefer to not have hair..But my skin being over sensitive, shaving is not a great option. I have found brazilian waxing the answer. I don't see it as submission but as a cleanliness thing. Whether the Dom shaves or not is his peroggative. I would reallly like it if he did at least trim. As for letting someone shave me..I can't see it..I hate being vulnerable and that makes me feel vulnerable.

I prefer to have my hair on my head longer. It seems most of the Doms I am around want a sub to have longer hair. I have been bald, short hair and hair to my waist..I don't care one way or another..It's at this time, I want my hair longer.

As for south of the border, as you say. I prefer the look and feel of a woman that shaves or waxes this area. It is partially about submission, but primarily just because it's what I like. As for whether or not the dom should do the same, that is his personal preference. I shave part and trim the rest fairly short.

Some styles fit other people better than others. mine is really short right now (short ~ but long enough for Him to grab and have a firm hold on my head <laughing>) and i really hate the thought of ever growing it out long again but if He would wish for me to, then i would.

As for south of the border, i normally don't keep it totally shaved unless i'm going to see Master. He prefers it completely smooth so i do for Him when W/we're together.

Same here mate average prive of the razor is A$150 without the razor strop which is an outrageous price. I'll make my own when I buy another razor.
