I stumbled across this site, and have been reading a few posts. I must admit I am completely appalled. I am sitting here shaking my head in disgust.

I read some profiles of "Masters, or Doms" who are married and looking for fun. I have read posts of "Masters or Doms" who ONLY want an online cyber sex relationship. I even read a few posts by one Dom who treats slaves differently than his "romantic partners". What is up with that??? Some Doms just want a sex slave to play with..?

What ever happened to a slave being loved and cherished for her submission? To be the most important thing in the world to her Master?

I don't get it. This place is a farce, full of wannabe's.....

there are those that cherish their relationships and take them seriously

there are those that are full of it

i guess its like any other area of life
there are good apples....there are bad apples..........you be careful what you pick

you may have better luck if you put info in your profile,that way there is no confusion.

personally if a Dom had no profile, he won't get far at all,imo, they just can't figure that out

As long as they dont lie and cheat to get what they want, what is wrong with "just sex" or "just fun"?.
Some may be disgusted with "love, cherish" and so on and so on.
To each their own.

But however you dont agree with others wishes and expectations, I would warn you about calling someone "wannabe" or "farce". Some may not like that.

I think you will find the same types of profiles on every other BDSM-based personals site. For every profile that states that they just want fun, I'm sure there is one that states that they want a serious, love-based relationship.

My goodness, have you got a lot to learn!

First of all, they ARE lying and cheating to get what they want, especially if they are married, or in another relationship. They are lying and cheating on there SPOUSES!!

I do NOT want to be a part of that, I do NOT want to be just someone's plaything when they feel it is convenient. If you do, then prance on my dear.

And by the way... I will call people whatever I want too, especially if it is true... and from what I have seen so far, it is.

So we finally have someone qualified to define precisely what a BDSM relationship is and is not. Now, at last, we can end the debates and have an all-inclusive definition. Please enlighten those of us who have been attempting to figure it out for ourselves all this time. I'm awaiting your words of wisdom with bated breath.

Just because you define something (or someone) in a certain way doesn't mean that everyone else does. There is a good chance that you don't consider my relationship to be "real" but I could really care less. It's good enough for me and I don't need your approval for it to make me happy.

So you don't like people on this free and public site who happen to do things differently then you. You have every right to say so, but other people have the right to dispute you.

I hope all of this makes sense, I am going on 3 hours of sleep over here

Does it matter if its a BDSM site or just a dateing site even a auction site no matter how many people are on it there is always and always will be those that are either after that extra bit of nookie with out their spouse knowing or trying to sell something they dont have so they are a wannabes in some way or other.
Besides have you soken to them all to know if their spouse dosnt know or maybe couldent give a toss anyway as the person is not able to cut the mustard any more but only hopes they can.
Let he who has never been a wannabe cast the first stone.
As to name calling you can call the two of us here any bloddy thing you wish to but just never call us late for dinner or a movie.

I'm not going to comment on the rudeness of the post. I'm inclined to think that you may have come here hoping to find nothing but people who dont play the field and yes some do and yes some lie and cheet on the partners. BUT there are also many here who do not. many are in poly relationships, in which their partner is not only aware of what is happening but encourages it too. Perhaps if you had spent a couple of days reading more of the posts you would have found this, and if you looked back in the archives, you would have seen the lengthy discussions about those very subjects which you are complaining about. In CM we are just a good cross section of the community. Go read more profiles if you like and read deeper in the forums.

I suppose it defines how you define nerve. You've already demonstrated an extremely narrow interpretation of a master/slave dynamic and voiced your intolerance for any variation that doesn't live up to your expectations. Are you so convinced of your persuasiveness that you expect to single-handedly covert all those who choose differently? If so, have fun trying.
Personally, I have no issue with you railing against the status quo untill your fingers bleed, if that's what you want to do. I'm content to point out the hubris implicit in your position. Beyond that, you're simply one more anonymous cyber-entity and you have no power over me or how I choose to run my household.
If you're looking for an opportunity for confrontation, collarme does have some interesting debates from time to time but the mods do run a pretty strict show. You're not going to find the freedom here for knock-down-drag-out personal attacks. If you're looking more cerebral discussions, you'll find yourself marginalized to some extent if you insist on a confrontational approach in your postings.
