Me i am fighting and arguing with myself about rope a flogger cuffs  or something els i cant decide

Status: offline 		Don't buy her something to be used on you. That's like buying your wife a big tv so you can watch football games.

What personal things has she mentioned? If she gardens, get her a rose bush. If she's mentioned some music she likes, then buy a cd by her favorite artist. A tea drinker? You can get assortments of different flavored teas as well as a pretty cup and teapot for one.

Show her that you appreciate her as a person and not just as life support for a flogger, as the phrase goes.

i was planing on brining her flowers plus what ever i get also am going to pick up a chocolat godiva cheescake from teh sheescake factory :)

I think bringing a token is a fine idea, though it should not be a thing to be used on you, and really just needs to be a token of appreciation.  I know that it sounds tacky as hell, but I had an out of town man come to visit and he didn't bring me a THING, not so much as a card.  Sucking up is always appreciated.

Status: offline 		if you are handy in the kitchen, make her something. Me, I'm known for chocolates. Or if some other skill, a gift that uses it. In the end, you will show your willingness to give of your time for her. She giving of her time for you.

Since she specifically mentioned what she does *not* want, as well as given you a category of items she *would* like, I would say you should listen to *her*, not us.

Status: offline 		Buy her something she can use just for herself. A gift certificate for a local spa would be one idea. A gift certificate to Bath and Body Works or some place like that might be an idea...or a gift basket from there.

If you take her rope (or whatever you ultimately decide), add in a book about knots, shibari or something that matches well with your chosen item. Rope is okay, but being thoughtful shows that you are really care about 'her' as a person and not just a fleshy machine to tie you up or flog you. If she journals, she probably likes to write which means she probably likes to read as well. That turns your gift into something personal for her as well as expands her toy collection. Whatever you decide on, make sure it's high quality and of excellent workmanship so that it will last. 

You will, of course, know her better than anyone else, so choose something appropriate for her while still meeting her desires and do so with thoughtful consideration.

I'm not so sure I'd do the cheesecake thing unless you 'know' she likes cheesecake. I hate the stuff myself and it would get thrown into the trash. It would be even worse if she had some sort of food allergy or health concern in which she loves chocolate cheesecake but can't have it!

Overall, think about what you know of her .. think back to conversations which you've had and what her reactions were to things you've said. What made her laugh or respond and you should be able to come up with something appropriate.

Good luck and let us know what you end up getting for her .. and, of course, her reaction to it!

Status: offline 		Flowers, chocolates if she likes them, and her favorite purfume.  Bring something for her that shows you appreciate her as a woman first and foremost.  Don't buy toys, those are for you, not her.

If the lady requested in her journals no flowers - DON'T take her flowers.  Otherwise all you are showing is that you are disregarding her words.
Do not take food or drink too many mixed signals there and with no imagination.
Rope is a good choice, plain and simple.
 
Perfume is good, or at least something in an attractive bottle.  Spa treatments or a token is cool.  A small hamper of bath products, or a token for nail treatment or pedicure.  A piece of art work - does not have to be expensive like a small carving.  If you know her birthmonth, her semi precious birthstone set in something would rock - again thoughtful but inexpensive - depends on your budget.

Indeed. I'd bring nothing at all. Gifts are for people I care about, if this is a first meeting then I obviously wouldn't know them well enough to shell out money for a gift.

Seriously, a bunch of random people can't tell you what to get this chick. We don't know her at all. Chocolate is a good idea but then what kind? People like different types. Jewlery, perfume, blah blah blah...people can spew out a million ideas but none mean shit. If you want to know what she likes then ask, it's common sense.

Yeah, that kinda jumped out at me, too. 
 
If she said to bring something for the dungeon, perhaps a gift basket of cleaning supplies for the dungeon? if she's busy, she probably goes through it quickly...
Perfume can be iffy..a lot of people have allergies to perfumes, either from the scents, or their skin (there are some that I cant wear, they make me break out).
I think the rope is a good idea..
