There already is one its called "Las Vegas" LOL What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - which is why they should move Tailhook there!

Or -- Maybe not *again*...

They raped SEVEN GUYS! In a town FULL OF HOOKERS.

wikipedia:

In September 1991, the 35th annual symposium in Las Vegas featured a two-day debrief on Navy and Marine Corps aviation in Operation Desert Storm. It was the largest such meeting yet held, with some 4,000 attendees: active, reserve, and retired personnel.

According to a Department of Defense report, 83 women and 7 men stated that they had been victims of assault and sexual harassment during the meeting.

Tailhook was not a big deal . Clinton was just pissed cause as a draft dodger he wasnt invited. Seriously, Tailhook was WAY overblown. FYI seven men were not raped by other men, they were accosted by equally horny FEMALE AVIATORS.  I know one of the women involved, she grabbed a gay waiter's cock and told him she could "fix him"... He complained. As for the 83 women, tough shit. If you want to party with 4000 drunken Naval Aviators what did you expect cookies , milk and Disney films???  Dont go to an orgy unless ya wanna fuck... Some of the women "harassed" were escorts. Anyone who could sell their story or file a claim did. So we moved the conventions to Reno, NV and made it a point to keep the press out. Nothing changed.

Edited to add: By the way Wikipedia SUCKS they get everything wrong. It was more than 2 years and it is the "Reunion" not the "Symposium" etc.. You can learn the real story at www.tailhook.org

And thanks, DA, for the mandatory sexual harrassment classes I had to go to over Tailhook.  They completely killed a Friday night when I could have been getting driunk and chasing skirts to make me get up at 0500 on Saturday to go to 8 hours of classes.  Then, they put me in a class taught by an amazingly hot first class who felt it was her duty to use me as the "for example"  guy.  Funny, somehow I managed to hit on her all during the class and not get in trouble for sexual harrassment.  Hmmmmmm......

Enquiring minds want to know - how was she? Did you poke that split tail good?   I empathize on the sexual harassment classes... I had to teach several due to Mast over an incident in which I boarded without pants and was so drunk I asked for "Permission to cross the patio daddy-o". Of course the enlisted guys LOVED my sexual harassment classes they were more of a "how to" LOL

My point here is that in a town FULL OF HOOKERS there's no reason for *anyone* to get raped.

And those who *did* end up making those choices... Well... At least it ain't the fucking Air-Farce Academy, eh?

So the Sir is allowing me to plan the ridiculous, overpriced Disney vacation of my dreams.  I've visited too many times to count, but never with partner, so I have lots of naughty adventures planned for all those fabulous dark rides.  My ultimate fantasy is to win a night in the Cinderella castle suite.  We could actually act out the first chapter of Anne Rice's sleeping Beauty.  Oh the wonder of it all!

Anyone else ever played dirty at Disney?  Please share.

Daddy's Ballerina "e"

You are truely kinky...this beats the 'mile high' club all to hell.

i hope you and Yr Sir have a blast!

DA I try I really do try to give you the benefit of a doubt, you can be funny and lord knows you can spin a story, but really? Are you advocating that it is alright to rape women because they partied with drunken sailors? That is an insult to all men and women that wear a uniform. My dad is a lifer in the Army, and he would be the first one to kick your ass if you assaulted a women in any context. Not condone or partake in it and certainly not make light of it. Please re-assess your thinking. This old boys club mentality is getting a little old and a lot neanthderthal.

Absolutely NO ONE got "raped" at Tailhook.  There was some groping, some ass grabbing, a "gauntlet" with a beer pitcher wet t-shirt contest,  the usual bullshit that you should expect if you party with 4000 drunken sailors many just home from war. Some of the complaintants were escorts - ie "hookers" - who go their asses pinched. Please dont put words in my mouth Aynne - I never said it is ok to commit rape. No rapes were committed. However, dont party with 4000 drunken sailors / aviators if you dont expect "sexual harassment".

Edited to add:
There are REAL rape problems in the US military. An 18 year old girl who has too much to drink and passes out with her boot camp buddies will likely be violated if not passed around. Thats a real problem that has never been addressed because its not as "newsworthy" as a bunch of officers patting asses and grabbing tits on hospitality suites full of "escorts" and strippers....

What about the officers wives that were there? And why aren't Naval Officers held to a standard of conduct? Shameful.

Aynne, you just proved my point. NOBODY WAS RAPED. The link you provided is to a woman who sued the Hilton hotel for  $5.2 million dollars because she got GROPED - not raped, groped. As the article you linked said:

Admiral John W. Snyder, dismissed her complaint with a wave of his hand, remarking, "That's what you get when you go on the third deck full of drunk aviators."

If every woman who has ever been felt up or groped at a wild party got $5.2 million in damages, then I think the world would be full of a hell of a lot of very rich women. Frankly, if my frat was any indication - most women would graduate college and retire on their judgement cause the same kind of groping goes on at frat parties. Tailhook was about MONEY.

As for the officers wives, they are used to wild parties - how do you think they became officers wives? Cruising Trader Jon's in Pensacola or other Navy bars in proximity to Naval Air Stations! I woke up with the woman who was to become my first wife not even knowing her name, and with fuzzy memories of drinking shots of Jerimiah Weed off of her belly and playing "guess whos tits are natural" on some townie girls while wearing her bra as a blindfold... I literally spent the first week of our relationship knowing her as "fun bellyshot blonde who gave up her bra as a blindfold" until I heard another townie girl call her Sarah and then I was like "Ah thats right, her name is Sarah"! I wont even get into how I began other relationships I had in the Navy as they were worse! LOL

Such is the life of a Naval Aviator Aynee... If I had a daughter I wouldnt let her NEAR Navy men and esp not aviators. Its not a secret that Navy pilots are bad boys - even in popular culture - the lead charecters in "An Officer and A Gentleman" did one dance with the girls then went out to fuck and subsequent dates were trips to the no-tell motel. In Top Gun, remember Tom Cruse followed the woman into the ladies room wanting to have sex on the counter?  The realities are worse.

Notheless, nobody was raped. As I said there was groping, the gauntlet, pitchers of beer poured on white shirts etc.... No rapes at all and certainly not "83 women and 7 men" as earlier poster commented.

There is also a little publicised fact that navy wives become single within a few days of the fleet setting sail.  In less than a week after the guys went out to sea, mydance card was full.  And Navy policy was "Don't ask, don't tell."  Not all navy wives are that way, but there are enough that are that a term was invented for them.  "Fleet widows" are common around every naval base.  Thats officers' wives as well as enlisted.  Its not right.  Thats just the way of things.

Oh fuck yes! Absolutely 100% true. Hence the whole "Tarmac Debs" thing. Poor girls from the trailer park on the wrong side of the tracks and/or the local school teachers who will never make $40,000 a year unless they stay till they are 85 find "the perfect husband". They become an "officers wife" and get to leave Pensacola, or Corpus, or Fallon and to live in exotic locales like Hawaii or Naples. Their husband is gone 6 months out of the year so she doesnt have to see him , yet all the bills remain paid and there is even extra sea pay coming in, and while he is gone she can get all the 18 year old enlisted dick she can handle... Then when he finally leaves the Navy, in his future is a $200K a year airline gig. KACHING! We are the answer to their prayers. Shit, when the airwing would leave for a WESTPAC I am sure that her wedding ring was off before I had the landing gear retracted.... Revised Checklist: Vr - ROTATE! Positive Climb, Gear Coming Up, Wedding Ring Coming Off, Set Vx, panties coming down... LOL

TDY wives are hardly just a Navy thing, guys.  And crew chiefs (plane captains?) marry total sluts, too.  An isolated base, language barrier, rascist locals...  Gang bangs in the dayroom, and they'd bring the beer.  It was more fun not to deploy.

I just didn't know the name for them in all the other branches.  I was the "boy next door" during my army time.  Beaver frakkin Cleaver.  After I got to doing my reserve obligation, got pissed at the world and joined the navy I had changed.  I was the 'boy next door if you lived in a porn movie."

My actual point is that a lot of the wives didn't give a shit.  They would assault us poor enlisted guys when the husbands were out at sea.  Man... it was great.
