I think she has lost interest because this has turned into a serious thread, and her new thread count is down for the D/day.

edited to add: oh and that the date might give away that although the thread has turned serious, the years quoted in the OP in relation to her is a bunch of bullshit.

Well, I kinda wondered, cause I'm only about a year maybe year and a half younger and I didn't graduate until 1977 and technically that was early.

The only thing you had to know in those days to get away from the cops was where the *nearest fence* was!
Those two ton hippo fat cops couldn't get over the bar at the American Legion if they had the D.T.s!

Status: offline 		I didn't smoke dope, protest the war (I would have had I known then what I know now), dodge the draft, dress like a hippie, hitchhike, or see Alice Cooper. I did, however, just about drop a brick hoping against hope that I wouldn't be sent to 'Nam. Someone must have been watching over me because my next orders were for separation!

Those were scary times for us. Especially for all the ones who got orders to go over there. They were treated so badly, first by Uncle Sam, and then by the war protesters.
