Yep, if they're tapping, because they're drawing fluids out, they would be using a bigger one. If you really want to kiss the floor, ask them to show you a 10 or 12 gauge..... [&:] When I was working on the ambulance, we'd get patients in diabetic comas and we'd slap a syringe of 50 grams of pure glucose with a 16g needle straight into their vein and WHAM! They'd come to going "where am I and who the hell are you???" Amazing drug, sugar! [:D] (Eats the vein though so we were pretty careful with it.)
