Nope. If you dress up like a centurian and declare that you are the Ubar and first sword of your particular block in the suburbs, sorry, but you're still acting out a fantasy, even if you take these actions in "real life". Everyone's reality might have some value to them but that is just about all that can be said.

It is quite common for sites like the ones that you listed to contain quotes from the books that aren't actually there, the writer having cut and pasted them from yet other web-sites. They often present material that perpetuates the "trekkie like" stereotypes of us that we've seen on this thread. I could go through the sites that you posted and give you examples of both, I'm sure, if you insist.

I was not tempting to dispel the simalarities to those whom write books and then live life according to them, You were.......
I used The Book as only one sample of how people take words written and apply them to their life I dont remember mentioning the Bible persay that was You. I suppose that then You would put sumone whom follows any books words and applys them to a lifestyle to be a centurian if I were to follow Your same pretext.

I will disagree for most sites I listed did not even have Quotes listed. And where munchie groups of Goreans in real life.The information in My PERSONAL sites is true to the books And even has multiple listings of all the different publications and differances according to the publication or translation from one language to the next in them. The sites that are of other Goreans that I posted are for the general reading of anyone whom desires to know about GOR. What one chooses to take from them is totally up to them. Do You honestly feel that there is only the right with out the left?? I dont feel that any Adult need be protected from items that refer to another persons Gor as either right or wrong for I do not judge others GOR but simply provide all the different information that can be attained of it. Angel,
Very well put. Probably the only post that is what alot believe but are afraid to voice.
Most of the time if you don't fit what someone else thinks is the "proper" description,
if you dare to call yourself something different then you are basically damned and banished
to hell on these boards.
With that said stormi just wanted to say THANK YOU for a wonderful post!!!!!
Too bad that it's not so easy to see that everyone has a right to live and use whatever works
for them and not be belittled or banished to the "outside" because they believe in something
different from those who believe themself judge and jury.
