if nobody put anything up that someone else might havea problem with, nothing would ever be put up
it seems that Alum was trying to find any racism here... as the ad sure as hell didnt have any...

I keep coming back because I have nothing better to do, and still hope to see something worth discussing

I didn't find the ad to be racist, but pink says it is so it must be.

The irony of all of this is that the chick with the FREE MySpace website is bitching about the banner ads being placed there to PAY for her little Happy Slip portal.

I have a personal website. I paid to register the url. I pay for webhosting. Not a banner ad to be found, although I might contact the filipinaheart.com folks and see if they'd like space on my site just to piss that chick off.

The quoted words don't exist, the racist content isn't there, the dating site isn't any of the things claimed, and even the Happy Slip person doesn't say racism, they say degrading while they allege mail order brides.

The OP is a total red herring as far as I can tell.

Why discuss the rightness or wrongness of Google's 'racism for profit' while ignoring the fact that there doesn't seem to be any?

Okay suppose the ad said "Meet your own Stunning Canadian girl today". Would that be racist? That would be the same thing just a different country.
