subgia -> BDSM bloggers (6/13/2008 9:32:21 AM)

i am a slave who loves to blog.  However, while i do have a blog, it is more of a vanilla website.  Is there a really good blogging site for lifestylers?

I use the blog facility on alt, and I personally love it and you dont have to be a paying member to have one and people dont have to be members to read it

I use the normal LJ and blogger.  I find them good and have no issues regarding regardless if they are bdsm related or not.  Unless they have specific rules, there is no issues - even getting BDSM readers will find you.

Fox and I use LJ as well, his blog is fairly descriptive of what his training has entialed, and he has never had any trouble from them.

I'm another LJ user.  Livejournal supports quite a few BDSM-related communities, although its use as a blogging site is a lot broader in scope.

pixidustpet -> RE: BDSM bloggers (6/13/2008 10:16:56 AM)

livejournal also has some communities for BDSM.  bdsm and bdsm poly are two that i belong to (although not under this name).

I've blogged on Alt for almost a year now.  The site itself has rampant glitches from one week to the next, but I prefer to have a focused BDSM audience, rather than the general public.  The blogs are readable by non-Alt members, but you can change that in your preferences if you like.  Mine is set that way, so if a non-member comes across my blog, they just get a message saying "This blog only viewable by Alt.com members.".  So far, I prefer Alt and it's glitches to any other blogging site I've found.

I use my profile journal on HERE  to somewhat blog and a bit on alt too . Its more for  me  as most people  dont  read it anyway , just a place to put random thoughts  and stuff .

~Fast Reply~

I sporadically use livejournal as well.  I like the screening features that allow you to mark some entries totally private and others for more public viewing.

The thing that frustrates me somtimes about LJ is finding other blogs that interest me.  I've come across a few, and then use the friend page on each of those, but even so, good blogs are sometimes hard to find.

Does anyone have any suggestions for searching at LJ?

I agree with this, I use the journal on here to to note my random thoughts and keep track of what I'm up to, mostly BDSM related but occasionaly mental.

*Wonders off to look for DV and Fox's blog*

i mainly use LiveJournal..

You can easily set specific blogs to be either public, private or only viewable by those on your friends list. Very user-friendly site.

**grumbles**OP, you have mail. (or in a minute rather.)

MasterFireMaam -> RE: BDSM bloggers (6/13/2008 10:03:04 PM)

I post to my LJ almost on a daily basis. You can use tags to sort your topics so that people who only want to read your BDSM stuff can set their notifications so they only get notified when you post under that topic. My LJ is way more about my everyday life than about BDSM.

Sandyshores29718 -> RE: BDSM bloggers (6/14/2008 12:36:17 PM)

i dont blog too much about my personal things with BDSM, but have a little on my myspace talking about the type of relationship i want and need. Other than that my personal journal by my bed is what i use. :)

sublibrarian -> RE: BDSM bloggers (6/14/2008 4:37:03 PM)

I've used blogger off and on for years now (librarianbabe.blogspot.com) but soon I'll be moving to my own domain (www.kinkylibrarian.net). Never had a problem with blogger censoring me or anything of that sort, even now that google has taken over.

toservez -> RE: BDSM bloggers (6/16/2008 8:35:50 AM)

I am partial to blogger as that is where I write mine and chose it because I find the blogs on that site just are more readable from a physical appearance for me personally.
