none of them bother me especially, though i do get annoyed at third person speech.. especially when a Dom says.. how is the girl? i wanna say, WHAT girl? hellooooo... im right here.. whats wrong with.. how are you?

oneverygoodgirl -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/15/2008 9:34:07 PM)

I find all the above to be somewhat distracting and silly - but to each their own.

cravesdom -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/15/2008 9:40:06 PM)

I personally don't care for the third person or the slashes, but they don't drive me crazy. But then not much bothers me. To each his own.

I do not find it annoying at all  - why would it be - people are allowed to express themselves in words or print however they choose - who am I to judge.

Definitely slashy/speak and need to add one for colored font and size.

Yet you have a colored, sized and italicized sig message. Good call.

I use a colored font in linear forums (like this one) so that I can quickly scan the threads to see and respond to people who have quoted an earlier post of mine. I try to pick the least obnoxious color available.

Touche...maybe I should have been more specific as I have had that for years, and said that a WHOLE post that takes up half a page, rather than a sig line, or any other tag line?  At least you are going for unobnoxious when you are talking about color in your posts, not verbiage.

slash speak and cutsie light colored font.
I find it so difficult to read (the font) that i generally ignore it.

It rubs the lotion on its skin

Third person is FUCKING HOT  ! ! !
If my slave is in high protocol, she is talking in third person.

You can jam the slash/speak up a D/donkey’s ass for all I care.  Hate that shit.   I can’t believe they blame that shit on John Norman sometimes.  He had nothing to do with that!

favesclava -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 5:52:10 AM)

all kinds of people express themselves in different ways. how boring it would be if we all wrote the same , thought the same, played the same. like Pepe Le Pew used to say,
"Vive la differance !!!" or like my mom still says
"Para los gusto se hicieron los colores". loosely translated, colors where made for the different tastes.
it pleases me to use lower case for myself and Capital letters for Master. its not required but it makes me smile to do this . Master doesnt mind, it pleases me, so whoever doesnt like it can kiss my puerto rican nalgas. with Master's permission of course.[:D]

Lucylastic -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 6:41:10 AM)

Slashy speak lately is driving me bonkers, also text speak. Ive been chatting for so long I use chat speak, like LOL, OMFG, PITA, GMTA,PMTA, ROFLMAOetc etc but gawd I hate txt spk, but then I am FAR from perfect so I let it roll off my back mostly, just sometimes it gets aggravating as hell so I take a break

Greetings Master Evility,

I chose slash speak, because not only is it annoying, it's confusing as hell. Plus it makes me dizzy, something i try to avoid.

well wishes,

PetPuppen -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 9:24:16 AM)

Definately only slash speak for me.

I used to speak in third person because I was directed to do so.

"This ___ begs her Master's forgiveness," blah, blah.

celticlord2112 -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 9:27:25 AM)

I'm not terribly annoyed by third person speech--had to do enough of it in boot camp that it seems somewhat passe.  That slashy stuff gets in the way of the reading and that makes it very annoying.

BBWnNC72 -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 9:46:43 AM)

i hate the slashy speak, it is really stupid in my opinion.

colouredin -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 9:58:46 AM)

Im with the greedy crew too, however i can divide them, i hates / speak because its hard to read but the doms capping themselves fucks me off  most not because its hard to read but because i find it really repugnant

xxblushesxx -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 10:04:44 AM)

I don't like the slashy speech because when I read it, I read We/we Our/our, etc...so, I'm continually repeating words as I read them. Extremely annoying.
It sounds like whoever is speaking is stammering.

MissMorrigan -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 10:14:01 AM)

I think it's nice that people have the freedom to express themselves, however, dominants that capitalise their own pronouns irritate the shit out of me and I'm not easily irritated. yeah yeah, we know you want your importance recognised, just not everyone will share your view and it comes across as flatulated self-aggrandisement. I can deal with the Y/y pecularities, just not when there's a stream of it - reminds me of stuttering - C...C... C. You thought I was going to say "Cunt" then, didn't you?

rubberpet -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 10:52:08 AM)

By far, the most annoying thing to read is people who refer to themselves in the third person.  That is so fucking irritating!!!  Argh!!! [sm=gaah.gif]

cjan -> RE: Which do you find more annoying to read? (6/16/2008 11:20:48 AM)

I see there is no category for compulsive posting of stupid topics. An oversight, I guess.
