Alright, how many have noticed that every horror movie or slasher flick has the same plot lines and plot twists and no one has come up with anything different?

Make your choice and offer an alternative.

I chose the one with kids. You get the same thing in science fiction.

Ask yourself this. You are the forces of evil or the leader of some superior extraterrestrial life form. Why would you ever want to use a typical eight year old from Ohio or Nebraska as your ambassador to communicate with the living or humans?

Ha.  You forgot the one where the girl, being chased and sure to get away, falls down, suddenly becomes paralyzed and just stays there as her attacker approaches and kills her.

the one that gets me is where some dumb teen, (usually female lol), manages to stun or "kill" the monster/intruder/badguy and instead of just running the fuck away, she has to go back and poke him or take his mask off or something and of course...the monster/intruder/badguy is never dead and kills her.   serves her fucking right.

The one that always got me was the guy and girl screwing, and the get killed either just after climax or just before.  It started with Jason and the camp counselors and went from there.

And it is always the shy attractive virgin that finally gives in to her boyfriend, and half the time the killer is under the bed and shoves the knife up through both of them.

Now, how can someone not notice somebody hiding under a camp bunk, a twin bed, even a full sized bed......

And the next question is, how come the killer is usually a real skinny guy and yet he can shove the knife through two bodies in one fast thrust.  Try shoving a knife through a mattress with no way to apply pressure to the knife.....

The one that got me was Jaws, and that was because at the time it was released, my dad was stationed at Hickim AFB and I was heavy into surfing.....

Never even dreamed of shark attack before that movie...

After that, I figured the only safe place to surf was the north shore, wild waves with a bottom full of coral heads.... BUT no sharks.

You might wipeout, have the wave pound you to hamburger on the coral, but you would not get eaten by sharks.......

I still think there is something wrong with that logic, but for the life of me I cant quite place my finger on it.

    Here is a cliché…
they good guy/girl is unarmed and kills an armed bad guy but doesn’t take any weapons?

You always take the weapons.   The gun you leave behind will be the one that shoots you in the back.

Hasn’t anyone in Hollywood lived through the race riots?
