This is probably the only MB that my nic does not have some personal meaning to me. The one I wanted to use was taken, and this just sorta popped into my head. Maybe because I was in a situation I was on the fence about, maybe not. I don't really know. lol

I post a great deal on football MB's and on a kidney disease support MB, in both of those my nic is much more a reflection of me. I am not an indecisive person so this one is pretty funny for me personally. Sort of like the Yin of my Yang.

For this name we just wanted to think of something that described us. In just about any other forum, I use pyrodie18. I do pyrotechnics (prof. fireworks shows) as a side job. A group of me and my friends that do this call ourselves the pyrodies. I just happened to be 18 when I first signed up for AOL and thus be came pyrodie18.

My name came from several attributes, I'm artistic, and I only come out at night. PLus I'm pretty novice so the in the dark part gets laughs out of people.

i used to bartend at a club in nyc and the British bartending supervisor who hired me gave me the nickname cherry
the name seemed to fit the obvious connotations of being new to Ds. . . no doubt it will evolve accordingly. . .

It reflects a part of me, the quiet people watching part. It also reflects who I am in real life. The subdued quiet fellow, who stops and just looks at the world around him. Noticing everything, but looks at nothing. Very zen moment here, or is it a Qi Gong moment? I'll have to meditate on that and get back to you.

But then, I know that everyone here already knows me as LA and/or LadyA and so why change a good thing? In any case, LA in french is the feminine definite article. I guess I found it so funny when I spoke with people and they called me "ellay" as I was signing off "La", like the note.

Well.... I've got another name for you that I like a whole lot better, and it's also got a french ring to it. HAR!

For years I have been using Cybercat almost everywhere - it describes me nicely and I always show on cam with my white persian.
But somehow I longed for a change and till I find something suitable I used nick very alike my real name.

Well.................

I kinda got this name back in HS, when I kinda sorta got ticked off at someone and had a teensy weensy moment of rage, and he yelled "OK, love dragon, I give!" as I leaned him out the window. Someone else heard him say it, so it stuck.

Edited to add: I added the 'x' out of necessity a few years ago since luvdragon by itself was taken (as a screen name).

O course; how dim of me. Noctural visitors are a bit more exciting for CM Mods than a tooth fairy, LOL.

I've had a LOT of nic's since I joined cyberworld.

My all-time favorite was CyberNazi_NoCyberForYou. It got a lot of laughs and comments until a descendent of a holocaust survivor followed me from chat room to chat room one night chastising me repeatedly for making a mockery of the horrifications (is that a word?) and the slaughter of the six million human beings. I felt bad and decided maybe I was being insensitive and I never used it again.

When I signed up here I decided I wanted a new nic, and it means nothing more than I like wind chimes. I just made up the funky spelling. I've used the name sandcastle in the past, too....because I like sandcastles.
