I have just returned form a 10 day trip without Master. We talked every day but it just was not the same. We really missed each other. Now i am home and going to see him this evening. I am going to show him just how much i missed him.

This is for those subs/slaves who had to be away from their Dom for a period of time. How was you homecoming?

i'll get back to this one after friday....TheEngineer comes to collect me that day. YAY!!!!

of course having an imp-chaperone all the way home is gonna be a drag.

but when its been some time without seeing Daddy, the smile that lights up his face when i open the door makes the wait worthwhile.

Right now .. even the best case scenario ... its going to be another 6 weeks until I get to see Him

I want my homecoming so muh, the desire just to be there is precluding being even able to imagine it.

In my case when i was away on company business for a while homecoming to my Master was a very joyous one, we came home, ate together, bathed together and indulged in a lot of more 'fuzzy' stuff than we might normally do. It was like 24 hours of being in a cute pink bubble, but then we both enjoy that aspect of our relationship as much as other elements.

Enjoy your homecoming too.

Every day the best moment is when one of us walks through the door to greet the other back home from the day.

I don't think I mope about when he's not here, but the high definition technicolor isn't quite there.

We have had to be apart for several months and it's been terribly difficult to endure, even though we communicate daily and talk on cam several nights a week. Even the thought of being at his feet again brings tears to my eyes. When I do see him again I just know I'm going to be a weepy, sappy mess.

I had my homecoming and it was wonderful. I wrote a little about it in my Journal if any care to see it. I am one very happy camper.:o)

Before I moved in with Him, I visited only once a month for about six months. I remember calling him from work and telling him that I miss him so much my stomach hurt! Seeing him was always wonderful but knowing I had to leave again in 5 days was horrible. I used to cry in the plane all the way across the country. I'm SO glad those days are over. But to answer your question, we always made our homecomings special and memorable. -tinkerbelle

He's the one who's away mostly, not me. And being away, even due to work or illness seems to trigger my abandonment button. The longer we're parted, the more wary I am when we get back together.

He's real good about dragging me into his arms and not letting go until I can relax and trust he won't suddenly disappear. Same thing if we haven't been able to play in a while, he'll just grab a scarf from the bedside table and blindfold me or tie my hands. Having it happen unexpectedly means I don't get anxious about how well I'll handle it. And frequently once he's got a scarf or two on, then he'll pull out the bag. What serves as anticipation for most translates to performance anxiety for me
