Status: offline 		I would like to try an interrogation scene with my boy.
I have already decided that I would be basically trying to get the safeword out of him (we talked about it and that gives him the power to end the scene successfully if anything is too much for him).
I know I want to tie him to a chair. I know I want to put a pillowcase or something over his head. I would like to slap him. But other than that I am suffering a real shortage of ideas.
Can anyone help?

PS. We have not really explored the pain side of BDSM, aside from some spankings that left bruises and a light flogging. I don't want to go crazy but I would also like to explore the sadistic side of my personality some more.

Status: offline 		For an interrogation scene to be effective, you have to be really creative and really convincing. I would seriously recommend NOT starting out with the goal of forcing your sub to safeword.

Call me a stick in the mud, but I'm not a fan of 'playing' with an established safeword. In my opinion, and I'm sure others mileage will vary radically, if you make the safeword prosaic, when the time comes to really need it, it won't have the same emphisis that it, in my opinion, should have.

That's not to say you should scrap the idea. I love interrogation, and the edgier the better. There's really no reason that you can't incorporate the "Word" that you are trying to get into the scene. Could you use something besides a word? A code perhaps, a name? These could all be easily planted into the scene with a little pre-planning.

Like I said, I'm a BIG fan of this type of play, but not so hot on the idea of pulling the bottom's safe word out just for the sake of making them use it. Safe words should be respected for what they are, is my opinion, and not used for 'fun'.

Status: offline 		You could cut his clothes off with a knife.  Piss on him.  Tease him with a noose around his neck.  Don't allow him to sleep or eat.  I negotiated with someone a while back and these were just a few of the things we thought might occur. 

Edited to add...the goal was for him to get my cm password.  That would end the scene.

Status: offline 		I'd select other "Secrets" you should try to force him to divolvge and leave the safeword as the real safety net.

I do interogations but mine are few and far between. I need the right person with high tollerences. My interogations include but are not limited to sleep deprivation, sensory deprivation, beatings, subliminat sounds, strobe effects, electricity and needles.. On one occasion I allowed the subject/prisioner to watch me appear to execute a third person. I pust the limits and am correspondingly ready to administer all necessary aftare care including therapy if needs be..

As a foot note to this, please allow me to comment that I have undergone "hard Interogation" dome by unfriendly professionals real time in a foreign country and I havv "Interogated" prisoners hard and not kindly. Some never survived. I understand the psychology of breaking people including the use of drugs as used by the now defunct KGB. In playing, I maintain regular breaks and reality checks and always have a safety monitor present as an aditional safety net for those involved...

Electricity.

You may not even have to use it.  Just putting the thingies on him, and letting him have a look (some of the units on the market look remarkably like car batteries) might well make an enjoyably frightful experience.

Status: offline 		To the OP...I guess you should determine what the goal of the scene is...is it for fun? for growth? to break down walls? etc...  The end goal should determine how the scene should be developed.

As IronBear noted, interrogation scenes can be very intense. Sir is also ex military and is skilled at interrogation. We recently did an interrogation scene that was extremely intense. He employed many of the tactics that IronBear listed and the scene was very lengthy....probably 10 to 12 hours. I did it without a safety net and agreed beforehand that I could not "opt out". Both mentally and physically it was really, really hard on me...at times I thought I really was going to totally crack....but the growth, sense of pride and renewed strength I got from it after the fact made every moment of it worthwhile. I wrote a very detailed accounting of it but I'm not really sure that it would be appropriate here.

Status: offline 		Hmmm...reading this I don't think I'm ready for a scene like this. We have done very little in the way of pain play. What we do mostly is humiliation and sexual teasing. I really like that. I just wanted to try something different but I don't think I'm ready to go very far with this scene and I don't know that it will work if I don't. Frankly, I'm a little scared of myself-what will happen if I get really into it. As I said...haven't done a lot of pain play...just don't think this is the place I should start...

So--where to start? Maybe that's the question I should be asking....

Chain his hands over his head over a very sturdy iron pipe.  Rent some construction site high intensity lamps and distribute them out of kicking range.  Cut his clothes off with an electric shear.  Shave him completely, head to foot, and throw ice cold water on him to douse him off.  Pull a canvas sack over his head, but dont tie it closed.  Have the lights kick on every 30 minutes for 30 minutes.  Once every three hours throw a bucket of water over him.  Every once in a while, hit him in the balls with a cattle prod.

During this entire time, dont say a word.

Prepare yourself with a set of stock questions in a language you know he doesnt speak, like polish.  Then, after a day in the basement, a full 24 hours... scream out, right in his ear "TELL US YOUR NAME" in polish, wait three seconds and use the cattle prod.

Vary this up until she's a screaming, broken wretch... then quietly whisper in his ear. "Beg me to have this man over here fuck you in the ass and I can make this all stop."  Be polite as you do so, so he can hear the concern in your voice. 

Variations on this are extremely hot.  Be prepared for extensive after care.

Hey, Master Fire, quit giving out the United States' secret torture tactics from Gitmo!!!  They tried to ban waterboarding, don't get the one you mentioned thrown out because it is truly inhumane and downright cruel!!!  Geez!!!
 
Seriously, to answer the OP question, try making the room very dark with only one small light.  Make the room really hot or really cold to set an atmosphere.  Incorporate knife play into things...there is something a little unnerving to a man like a big, sharp knife around his privates!  Maybe try "suffocating" him with a plastic bag.  Take copper wiring, wrap it around sensitive body parts (like nipples or privates), and occasionally give him a zap from a 9-vold battery.  Try tickle torture.  If you have a cat, tie a jingly bell around his privates and let the cat play with it!  The cat will enjoy it, you'll get a kick out of watching it...everyone's happy! 
 
Heck, the possibilities are endless!  Go nuts, have fun, but always play safe!  Remember, a broken toy won't want to play with you again!
